Mobiderm® provides a pressure differential between the pressed zone and its periphery, which causes a shearing effect of the subcutaneous tissues concerned.

A little miracle for me

"This item has been a game changer for me. Due to hEDS/MCAS and trauma/neurodiverse-related sensory issues, it's been a serious challenge finding garments and products I can tolerate to help control lymphedema and radiation fibrosis following breast cancer treatment. Compression bras have been the most needed and most challenging. This product doesn't irritate my extra sensitive skin. It's thin enough to tuck into garments I can tolerate (such as a crop top style cotton bra/top or an arm sleeve/sock) without creating too much bulk. It can be cut to any shape and even sewn (I've made shapes with darts.) without fraying the edges or shedding of foam pieces. It conforms exceptionally well to body parts (I've used my bulky swellspots to cut the same shapes out of this, and the Mobiderm works better and is more breathable/comfortable.) It stays in place well even with activity. It overheats me far less than other products (an issue if you have temp regulation problems or live in a hot climate.) It can be washed by machine in a lingerie bag on delicate. It air dries fast. And best of all: It WORKS amazingly well to help move the fluid and keep it from pooling. I'm very impressed with the results and how much more comfortable by problem areas are. My one complaint is the pricing and size options. It's so expensive, especially if you need to experiment with shapes and often, for larger areas the material needs to be pieced. (I bought the Komprex II channeled foam at the much cheaper price to experiment with and then tried the best shapes in the mobiderm. The Komprex II is similar enough & works well enough to still be useful in similar ways but the Mobiderm is definitely the superior product all around. I've also saved all the little cut off pieces and made my own chip pads from those.)"
