The two-part compression system incorporates a liner that gently holds the wound dressing place, while the outer stocking delivers the optimal compression to effectively treat a venous ulcer. Maintains compression; Helps improve healing

"This stocking and liner set has really helped to keep needed compression on my leg to aid in healing a venous leg ulcer I have been dealing with for over a year. It maintains the compression to improve the circulation. I am not having to constantly adjust or pull them up like other rolled wraps I had been using. The fact that I can actually tolerate putting them on over my covered ulcer was surprising. The material has the needed compression but also the stretch to get them on over a bandaged leg. I'm happy with this purchase. I do have an issue with the outer stocking being a little big. I ordered according to the size chart. The inner liner fits fine but the outer stocking is a little loose around the ankle foot area. Wish I could order the stocking seperately like you can the liners."

"This compression system gave me back my life! I have had a lower leg ulcer that started 5 years ago. It had not been healing and after years (not joking...years) it had gotten to be about 2 X 4 inches in size. I felt like a prisoner. It was extremely painful and I had to change the dressing everyday due to the exudiating nature of the wound. I had to wear pants in 100 deg heat and I haven't been in a pool for over 5 years. I was so worried it would never heal. My leg and foot were always swollen and sore. My I finally looked up a few things online and after doing some research I found these on brightlifedirect. I have been wearing the 2 part compression system for just over a month...ONE month and I feel like a new woman. The wound is a third of the size and my leg and foot are no longer swollen and sore. The liners are soft and easy to put on. I think it'll be all the healed within another couple months. I am amazed and so grateful for this compression system. I also purchased the liners on their own as a light compression stocking for my other leg to prevent swelling edema and ulcers. This site it the cheapest by far! Great customer service and shipping was REALLY fast. Thanks for everything."

Q&A

I would like to know how well the outer sock goes on if you are currently using a dressing over an active wound that is covered with a thicker dressing like an ABD pad? Should I measure my leg with this on to include the thicker pad over the wound?: All measurement should be done against the skin if possible. Besides the Jobst UlcerCare also take a look at the Therafirm Core-Spun. Thank you
Do these come in a 30/40: The ulcercare products will be 40 compression. Jobst does a zipper product. Thank you
Are there ulcer care liners with open toes? The 40mm combination of liner and sock work great-- except that the liner gets tighter and tighter on my toes during the day, and then my toes really hurt. I've even had to stop my PT's regimen for walking.: The ulcer care liner do not come open toe. The compression for the liner is 10mm, a very mild compression. It is the ulcer care open toe stocking that will have the compression. Thank you
