The BIG BUTLER application aid is a "must-have" for every stocking patient, this simple step-in device allows for easy, correct application of compression stockings. Similar in design to the Mediven Butler, but with a 6" opening and 18" overall height to accommodate larger legs. Simply pull the stocking over the metal frame until the heel is exposed, step into the stocking and pull up on the handles. It's as simple as that!

"It works however I have to stretch the sock clear to the toe otherwise my foot will not slide into the foot portion of the sock. Also aligning the heel correctly doesn't always happen and I have to fight the sock to get heel in the correct place. Less exhausting than doing it by hand."

Hi! Regarding the Mediven Big Donning Butler, I do not know whether to buy my mom the big size or the regular. Her ankles are about 12 inches and her calf is 15 inches. She is less than 5 feet tall. Which one would be best for her?
