The Mediven Sheer & Soft are the sheerest medical compression stockings on the market. In addition to being the sheerest, independent studies found them softer and more durable. The first time I wore

"The first time I wore these was for my wedding on 10/22/22. I had a fresh pedicure and no long or rough toenails. At the end of the night I had a hole in the toe of the brand new stockings.. They felt very good on but the next time I wore them ( short well groomed finger nails) I created 2 holes in one stocking simply pulling them up. Also second time on, they did not stay up and were gradually sliding down all day. Both these factors were very disappointing as these stocking are not cheap. Again, I found them to be very comfortable on as many compression stocking can be very uncomfortable and limit range of motion. Until the hole issues and the sliding down I thought I had found the perfect compression hose."

Great products!

"This order was sent in several shipments. The Medi Sheer & Soft Thigh Highs fit well and last a long time if handled well. I machine was them in a net bag successfully and have for years. Recently i also ordered the Donner Butler to assist in putting them on, as i had a knee replacement making it more difficult to get them on that leg in particular. After i have gotten used to it, it is working well and i am able to get them on quickly. These are both great products! Thank you."

I've found the best fit, value, and service.

"I purchase a pair of stockings for each day of the week, twice annually from BrightLife and have been purchasing compression hose from them for at least 20 years. i have tried many manufacturers with variable success. After a serious DVT I was told I must wear the highest compression hose on both legs to avoid clotting. So i wear 30-40 mmhg compression all day, every day and have for over 20 years. Initially I tried pantyhose, but that was an all day job getting them on and they self destructed in a week from the effort. Then I tried knee highs for several years but they did not fit well due to the structure of my knees and I really needed something longer. i finally settled on thigh highs, but had problems with a proper fit. Regardless of the type of band they would not stay up. I tried using glue, which was a whole other story. that was messy, uncomfortable, and my thighs would be red with irritations and ^I had blisters from the band. I tried many manufacturers throughout this process, settling primarily on Jobst. However, nothing really stayed up well, rolling over and constricting blood flow at the band. Over the past year I have discovered Mediven and primarily due to their many sizing selections, I have found not only a good fit for the ,length of my leg as well as the circumference but also a good band that does not roll over. The Comfort Thigh with beaded silicone band works very well and is easy to put on. It is heavier so I use them mostly in cooler weather. The lace band on the Sheer and Soft thigh highs work very well tho i prefer a silicone top. More care must be taken in putting the sheers on, as they will run or even tear if you are not careful, but they stay up very well. My one objection is that the do not have the best color for me. i get Natural but it is darker than I like and there isn't an in-between, lighter color available. However, being able to get a length that fits my shorter legs and large thighs is a real bonus that makes them the best fit i have ever found. I would be remiss if I didn't mention that I would never order through anyone other than BrightLife. Their service is second to none. They go the extra mile to find what is best for you and shipping is fast and economical."

Not My Favorite

"I was hopeful these would be my favorite due to the positive reviews. I like the sheerness. They are probably the most attractive compression garments I own. I just need a little more compression for my leg than these are able to give. The lace band around the thigh is pretty, but it leaves red marks that hurt at the end of the day. It's not so bad that I can't wear them. At the end of the day, it's just my unique compression needs that make these not my favorite. They will probably be the best garments to wear in the summer because they are so sheer and look like my natural skin color. I will try other styles by the same brand. I'm 5'3 tall and 137 lbs. 10lbs of that is probably in my right leg. Acckkk!"

Happy at last

"I was reluctant to buy thigh high compession stockings, mainly because I was afraid they wouldn't be long enough and they wouldn't stay up. I'm 6' tall and wear a size 12 shoe. The foot size was sufficient and the stockings were long enough. Also, they stayed up all day. I'm very happy with this purchase."
