Great questions: BLD does not bill any insurance companies, It's up to you to file with your insurance company. No prescription is needed to place an order. We will ask you if you're working with a doctor if you're ordering compression levels of 30-40 or higher. You can place orders with us on-line (Economy shipping is always free on line) or call us and place an order, (your first order is free Economy shipping and after that if your order is less then $60, Economy shipping is $5.50). We have other levels of shipping to get your items to you. You can call us anytime to ask questions about any product.
