"Beware! The stitching that attaches the silicone band to the top of the stocking does NOT stretch much and is very tight. I ordered a size Medium Short. I have a thigh measurement of around 21", well within the range of the size Medium thigh measurement. But the narrow band of stitching will not stretch beyond about 9. 5" diameter (so 19" circumference), no matter how hard I try to pull it open. I can well imagine that the silicone band itself will easily fit around a 25" thigh, but the stitching will ensure that the stocking is horrifically uncomfortable for anyone with larger than about an 18" circumference thigh (for a size M)."

Excellent quality, but correct sizing is major problem

"In terms of quality, this is the best compression stocking I have ever owned. The size chart recommended a size small because I have very slim ankles and thighs. My calf measurement is closer to medium. I found it very very difficult to pull the stockings over my ankle. When I was able to do this, it felt fine until I got to my thighs where they were too loose. I have worn compression stockings over 30 years and never had this much difficulty putting on the stocking. I think the problem would have been solved had I gotten a size medium, and then just taken a tuck into the top lace border."
