I have a little trouble with the hole for the heel. It often is difficult to get it over my heel...
Great!, October 5, 2017 By Aimer (Da Windy, KY)(Verified)
I have edema issues and these stockings are a godsend. They help relieve my legs of the fluid and are also sexy and stylish. I can wear them with my open toe sandals and no one can tell that I have on medical grade hose. Awesome product!

Very satisfied with the quality and fit of this compression stocking.
Resupply order!, July 7, 2017 By Anonymous (Parkersburg, WV)(Verified)
Currently rotating 3 pairs - one from February, and two from April, and it's July now. I'm getting 3+months of wear from these, though I am starting to have runs in a couple of them, one bad run was probably started with a snag, the other one started with tugging at the top and possibly a fingernail stab I've been wearing them with capris and sandals since it was warm enough to do so, and they have been remarkably comfortable and breathable on hot days. As always, I have to clip the heel seams to release tension, and even then, the heels can get too tight late in the day, but that's the trade off for having the open heels. Pressure is better after a wash, so I try to limit my wearings between washings to 2 or 3 times. That's the other advantage of the heels out style, the bottom is always the bottom, with heels in, if you turn them inside out and wear them again, the bottom of the foot becomes the top of the foot, and you see the dirt on top.
Open toe and heel hose, June 27, 2017 By Debra Hardesty (Indianapolis, IN)(Verified)
Did not like made my toes hurt and the heel kept moving and would not stay In place.
Poor, June 22, 2017 By Robert Ryan (Virginia Beach, VA)(Verified)
The heel cut into my ankle all the way around! Totally not satisfied with us product! When I opened them I figured they wouldn't work! They looked cheap and ragged in the heel area!
Summer Stocking, June 17, 2017 By Anonymous (New Hartford, NY)(Verified)
Summer is here and with toe/heel support stocking design by Allegro I can wear sandals with capris and no one knows I have support stockings on. The material of these stockings is super soft and so breathable that I find I can wear them all day on hot days. I wear size medium: 5''6", 145 lbs, 51 yrs. old. Others have mentioned heel opening irritates or is too tight, but I can say I find them comfortable enough to wear all day. I rotate between sheer open toe by Allegro and the above design. For those who refuse to wear support stockings in the summer heat, please give this design a try for the health of your legs!

Much better than closed toes and heels
SO FAR SO GOOD, March 1, 2017 By Anonymous (Parkersburg, WV)(Verified)
I've worn these with capri pants a few times as it has been warmer on some days (I wear sandals with straps over the ball of the foot, and around the back of the ankle) and no one has noticed unless I point them out. They feel good so far!

Do not fit well., June 27, 2016 By Anonymous (Knoxville, TN)
Like some other customers of this product, the open heel dug in and was very uncomfortable from the moment I put these hose on. I wore them about 15 minutes and had to take them off because they were making my heels swell up.
The nylon at the toes also did not stay in place. It rode half way up the top of my foot before it stopped. They are going back.

Am very, very happy with your company. The stockings are excellent, the price is fantastic and the free shipping seals the deal.
Not happy, September 30, 2014 By Anonymous (Houston, TX)
The open heel is not a good idea. I tried this ones because there wasn't any closed heel version. I have to take them out after 2 hrs. wearing them. The seam puts a lot of preassure on my feet. On the other hand I am happy with the texture and the quality of socks.
Cutting edge....open heel on knee high, February 20, 2014 By Anonymous (Cleveland, MN)
The support of these feel good, but the open heel edge that goes under my feet really 'cuts in' by the end of the day...which makes them uncomfortable. I am 99% sure that I am wearing the correct size.
Great hose, December 19, 2013 By Anonymous
The open toe/heel compression hose was really great but my dads ankles were pinched by the open heel and the pain was great so I returned them for ones with only open toes.

They're great. They're doing a great job.
open toe/heel review, July 30, 2013 By Anonymous (Covington, VA)
pretty good product, but a little more nylon-y than I'd like. I'd rather have a more breathable product, but overall, this is a good product.
good sock, July 30, 2013 By April (piedmont, SD)
I really liked these socks for the 1st half of each day I wore them. I have a lot of swelling and ended up with painful swelling in the heel opening each time I wore them. They are also a bit long so the tops bunched right at the knee which was also painful about halfway through the day. If you don't have a problem with swelling and are on the tall side then these would probably be a nice sock for you. If you need a little shorter sock with the heel intact then I would suggest Allegro sock #19.
