"I wasn't so sure looking at the opaque wrong side of the Medicine Sheer pantyhose length compression stockings that they would look so sheer once on. The waistband is wide and very comfortable. I can pull these up to my natural waist so they don't cut me in half like some brands, and they leave a smooth silhouette. I took off a star because the sheer leg part needs to come up higher to better allow them to be worn with shorts in the summer. Compression stockings are a bit like wearing long johns in warm weather so to be able to wear shorts would be very welcome."

Comfy waistband

"I have mixed emotions about there 'Mediven Sheer & Soft' 30-40 compression pantyhose stockings. I really like the waistband of these stockings; they didn't roll or dig. My legs feel good in these and they definitely helped decrease the swelling in my feet. They are supposed to be sheer and are not. There are only two color choices : black and natural. I bought the "natural". I thought it would be much lighter in color than they are. Unfortunately , maybe because they don't have as much Lycra as other brands, they are a bit of a bear to get on , Because of the thickness of these stockings I doubt they will breathe enough to wear for the summer, and the color is conspicuous on me. The weight of these will be welcomed in winter, but not for summer activities."

The stockings have a tendency

I like the feel of

"I like the feel of the stocking, the only problem is the stocking rools behind my knee and sometimes rool around the ankle. this happens in the middle of the day. My legs do feel better by wearing the stocking.not answering the size because the fitting was done by my therapist,"

I didn't know how in the world I would get them ON, as they are obviously very tight, but with some tugging, they go on & the fit was perfect, are comfortable, & look just like regular stockings."
