I wear a 10 so I got x large which fit comfortably. They are soft, easy to put on. Might be a little too thick for warmer weather though.
Marvelous Socks, March 2, 2017 By joe chapin (willcox, AZ)
I think it would be very easy to rename these The Marvelous Socks. They are better than I expected. They don't bite or bind, and they stay up, wether I am driving walking working or riding my horse. They are superb.

Great Product, December 27, 2016 By Anonymous (Salida, CO)(Verified)
I love these socks for after wearing heavy compression socks or my circaid compression. Gives a milder compression while providing a relaxed fit
Perfect for under my leg brace, November 12, 2016 By Anonymous (Lafayette, IN)(Verified)
These socks are perfect to wear under my leg brace. They provide the right amount of protection for my skin, are very comfortable and not too heavy in warm weather.

smartKnit Seamless Diabetic Over-the Calf Sock, September 23, 2016 By Helen M. Bates (North Augusta, SC)(Verified)
I have been wearing SmartKnit Seamless Diabetic Socks for 3 years and I really like how they fit, and no seam to worry with. After trying the over-the calf socks, I found that I really like the way they feel on my legs.
compression, June 18, 2016 By Anonymous (charlotte, NC)
Really helps keep my nerve damage by keeping my shin and ankle compressed with just enough pressure.
Smartknit socks, December 22, 2015 By Anonymous (McPherson, KS)
Great compression socks. Comfortable, fit well, and last a long time.
Good, but, October 16, 2015 By Anonymous
Bought these for my dad who is diabetic and has had a trans-metatarsal (TMA) L foot amputation. He also needs compression because of a DVT. These socks are great for the compression. They also wash well and gathering (for him a VERY bad thing) is not a problem.
Reason for only 4 stars: The description said seamless and heelless. First time, I trusted the site but still ended up with socks with heels instead of tube socks. Second time I spoke with a "CSA" before ordering and asked about the "heelless." CSA said these socks have no heels, hence a tube sock. This is important since the TMA significantly shortened his foot - socks with heels don't work well.
Second order also had heels. We are working around it since the heel portion hit Dad about mid-calf and is not noticeable and does not bother him with rubbing. However, I won't buy more (especially at this price) when I can't get what we need.
SmartKnit Diabetic Sock, October 5, 2015 By Jarvis Cronin (Mesa, AZ)
These are comfortable and I like the feel of them. I do have a problem with them staying up and fitting firmly most of the day. I like them but don"t know if they are of any benefit to me having Diabetic Problems. I think if they had more of a firmer fit and would stay up they would they would hit the mark better for me.
Post-Polio sock, April 3, 2015 By M Layne Murphy (Portland, OR)
I have post-polio syndrome. Wear afo on both legs. These socks protect my skin from the braces. Have to buy two different sizes but it's worth it. Perfect for me!
The first pair I ordered were too big and they were promptly replaced with a smaller size with no problem. I am not diabetic but seem to have excessively sensitive feet so finding comfortable socks has been an issue. I hate seams touching my toes. These were a perfect choice. They were heavy enough to keep me warm yet light enough to not be bulky and best of all no seams!! The top band is not tight and I was afraid they would not stay up but I have no problem with them falling down or having to pull them up. I love these socks. These are well worth a try if you have sensitive feet.
Super Comfy SmartKnit, October 31, 2014 By Linda (Los Lunas, NM)
These are my favorite socks, ever. I wish they were less expensive but worth the price.
Socks that Help Diabetics!, November 2, 2013 By Anonymous (Oceanside, NY)
I have permanent nerve damage in my legs and feet. These socks are the best available on the market! They stay up, keep their shape after at least 50 washings as long as no bleach is used.
Smart Knit is the only brand I buy. Thank you for providing relief to my aching legs!
SmartKnit = Smooth Move, August 29, 2013 By Anonymous (kissimmee, FL)
The SmartKnit Diabetic Over the Calf Socks are comtortable & soothing. Some diabetic socks are so bulky they are difficult to get comfortable right away. These socks are so comfortable you have to try them to appreciate the support and comfort.

The recent order of socks wasn't exactly what I expected as I really needed compression socks. But they were comfortable and will be nice in the colder climates here. The ideal socks my husband needs are to be all cotton compression socks that are knee high.I will keep these for myself as I wore three pair already with the rain and cold weather we have of late. The socks did seem a lot thicker though than we are used to and my husband said his one pair he wore would roll down from his knee which was an annoyance to him.

I really love these socks. They are soft and keep my legs warm in the winter and come summer when it gets in the 90's they wick the mositure away from my feet keeping them dry. This reduces the risk of fungus or infection since I am diabetic.

Great socks. My Grandmother has neuropathy and wears AFOs. These socks are just what she needed. No seams to irritate and tall enough to go above the top of her braces. Now to see if we can keep track of them when she moves into the nursing home or if they grow legs and walk!! They will be a little pricey to keep replacing.

We bought over the calf socks as a Christmas gift for my mom. She called me after wearing them for half a day to say how "GREAT" the socks and she felt. She could not thank us enough.
