Jobst Ultrasheer open toe thigh high stockings provide the perfect combination of fashion and comfort for a great look and feel. Available with a silicone dot band in regular length only. These compression thigh highs look like fine fashion hosiery and feature reinforced heels and closed toes.
This stocking provides 30-40mmHg of gradient compression and should be worn under a doctor’s supervision. This level helps relieve severe varicosities, severe edema (swelling), and chronic venous insufficiency. It helps healing after sclerotherapy and surgical procedures, and helps prevent venous ulcerations. This level also helps relieve superficial thrombophlebitis. Made from 55% nylon, 37% spandex, and 8% silicone in Mexico.

These were a very good pair for me and after having a bad experience with the comparable Mediven version (better looking but very painful) I will be buying another Jobst. It is true they are not that sheer as I was hoping for. They're pretty opaque actually which may be because the compression is so high. I also tried the other brand because I have very pale skin and the lightest of these looks ridiculous on me - they are way too dark and it makes it too obvious I am wearing them. They do run but I am not well and so it may be that I am a bit hard on them because I fall sometimes I couldn't say if they are weaker than other brands. At this point I need another pair and we are in the midst of colder months so they will be hidden under clothing. The thing that really sells me on getting another pair is that they are so comfortable I put them on first thing in the morning and hardly want to take them off before bed and they do help my heart out a lot. I had no problem with them moving or falling they fit right and do what they are supposed to. Sexy? Definitely not. But practical yes. I do sometimes have to arrange the band around the open foot it sometimes squeezes too tight (my feet are not swollen at all so I find open toes to be more comfortable and practical) but that may be an issue with all open-toe stockings I am not sure. I could probably cut a slit in the bottom of the foot to relieve some of the pressure in the next pair if necessary.

The stocking fits well; however the "ultra sheer" description is misleading. My daughter is 13 and it has been difficult to cope with wearing compression stockings every day. We were excited to see there was a sheer option; however when it arrived it does not appear to be very sheer at all. Thank you for asking our opinion though. The company has been very easy to work with.

I recently purchased these stockings for use after laser vein treatment and had to wear them daily for several weeks. I was really concerned that they would be so uncomfortable that I wouldn't be able to tolerate them however after reading the previous reviews I decided this was a good pair to try. I have to admit that they have been very comfortable I even forget I have them on most of the day. The hardest part of any compression stocking is getting it on over your foot after that these are surprisingly easy to get on. I would recommend them to anyone!
