Jobst for Men thigh highs are made of ribbed fabric with a closed toe and feature a stay-up silicone band that keeps them firmly yet comfortably in place. A reinforced heel resists shoe abrasion and microfibers wick away moisture for a dryer, cooler feeling.
These stockings provide 30-40mmHg of gradient compression and should be worn under a doctor’s supervision. This level helps relieve severe varicosities, severe edema (swelling), and chronic venous insufficiency. It helps during healing after surgical and sclerotherapy procedures, and helps prevent venous ulcerations. Woven from 71% nylon 25% spandex and 4% silicone in Mexico.

Jobst stocking review, October 15, 2015 By Tim (TX)
Fit great but still need to use glue to stay in place even with silicone band and being brand new.
Jobst is the best value!, July 25, 2015 By Anonymous (Florence, KY)
These Jobst stockings are of far better quality and support than the equivalent Sigvaris brand. Jobst also launder and lasts far better as well. Jobst now needs to step up their style and offer high compression (30-40 mmhg) sports stockings in bold colors and silk screening. I have chronic venous insufficiency but I'm not an old man. C'mon Jobst! Get with the times!
Jobst Thigh Highs for Men 30-40 mmHG, February 16, 2015 By Anonymous (Columbia, MD)
Having dealt with DVTs and lymphedema since I was 18 years old, I have tried a variety of different compression stockings. Hands down, the Jobst Thigh Highs for Men 30-40 mmHG are the best and most comfortable compressions stockings for me.
At the end of a long day, my legs feel incredible. When I remove them, my legs look almost like I have no vascular issues.
No effective compression stocking is inexpensive, including the Jobst. However, given the relief that these stockings provide and the way they make my legs - and me - feel, they are worth every penny.
Of course, you should speak to your physician to figure out what works best for you. For me, these are God-sent compression hose.

Sorry I thought I was being asked for a review of my own compression pantyhose. My husband is the wearer of these Jobst Thigh Highs for Men and has worn them daily since serious complications with his legs following quadruple bypass surgery. He also is very happy with his thigh highs and always looks for the sale to help cover costs of these essentials.

Since my doctor prescribed these hose as an alternative to surgery I've worn them at least 16 hours daily and have significantly improved my leg comfort. My medical insurance covered the first 6 pair I received years ago through my doctor's office but now that I'm on Medicare I always watch for Bright Life sales to keep myself in comfortable yet stylish compression pantyhose.
