Jobst Relief thigh high surgical stockings for men or women are made from smooth, breathable fabric and available with a closed or open toe (beige only). This thigh high is available with or without a silicone top band. No silicone band requires the use of a body adhesive such as "It Stays" or a garter belt. Relief is Jobst's economy brand and features a generous toe area and reinforced heel pocket.
This compression stocking provides 30-40mmHg of gradient compression and should be worn under a doctor’s supervision. This level helps relieve severe varicosities, severe edema (swelling), and chronic venous insufficiency. It helps during healing after surgical and sclerotherapy procedures and helps prevent venous ulcerations. This level also helps relieve superficial thrombophlebitis.
Black - closed toe only
No silicone band - beige only
No band: 67% nylon and 33% spandex. With silicone band: 66% nylon, 28% spandex, 6% silicone.

These are my favorite I can get 2 pairs for the price of 1 pair of my second favorite. And compared to custom ha 900 per leg ouch.

These stockings are good for someone with severe leg problems. I ordered them without realizing that they were so thick. Plus the doctor said that I ordered the wrong compression.
Jobst Relief Thigh Highs 30-40mmHg open-toe, June 12, 2018 By Amy (San Ramon, CA)(Verified)
Comfortable stretch, not scratchy on my skin like a less expensive compression stocking. The silicone band stays in place. The Jobst open toe has a bulky toe band, which makes it hard to fit into shoes. Could Jobst redesign the toe band to be like the Allegro open toe band? Also, the Jobst toe band elasticity seems to get loose rather quickly, so it doesn't stay. When I walk, the feet portion creeps up my feet, resulting in too much pressure on my instep. I am constantly attempting to pull the toe band back down toward my toes, to relieve the pressure on my instep. It is embarrassing and inconvenient to take off my shoes & socks and attempt to pull the toe band back down, especially in public places. The pressure on my instep does not allow me to wait until I'm in a private setting. Unfortunately, the closed toe does not work for me. Otherwise, it's comfortable & a good value.

MY DOCTOR SUGGESTED I WEAR THIGH COMPRESSION STOCKINGS. I WAS CONCERNED ABOUT COMFORT AND WEATHER OR NOT THEY WOULD STAY IN PLACE, THESE DO BOTH NICELY
Good quality stockings, April 19, 2018 By Anonymous (Cumming, GA)(Verified)
The Jobst Relief Stockings are great quality stockings. The silicone band is comfortable and stays up all day. They wash well and the compression remains steady after washing.
Best All Around, February 28, 2018 By Anonymous (Somewhere, MI)(Verified)
Probably the best all around. Could use some improvement with the shape of the foot. The new Mediven Duomed has an excellent foot design. Maybe copy that?
Great Leg Support, February 17, 2018 By Charlotte Visbeck (Point Pleasant, NJ)
Having worn Jobst thigh high support stocking for more than 20 years, I can certainly say how comfortable they are for all day wear under all conditions. They are not bulky and are a perfect nude color to go with all clothing.

Jobst relief thigh highs 30-40 mmHg, December 9, 2017 By July Galper (La Jolla, CA)(Verified)
Jobst Relief thigh highs are the best in the market for lymphedema, no other brand can compare. I had talked with Mr. Jobst many times on the phone and he was very helpful. My life depends on them. I have been using them for 40 years. After recently ordering the close toe, I realize I prefer the open toe because the close toe does not permit you to arrange your toes if you have to and the material at the bottom or on the toes is different from the ones previously. Jobst Relief Thigh Highs 30-40mmHg open-toe, October 31, 2017 By Amy (San Ramon, CA)(Verified)
Very comfortable stretch, and not as scratchy on my skin as a less expensive compression stocking. The problem I have with the Jobst open toe is that the toe band is bulky, which makes it hard to fit into shoes, unless the shoes are the type with tie laces. Also, the toe band elasticity seems to get loose rather quickly, so it doesn't stay. When I walk, the stockings creep up my feet, resulting in too much pressure on my instep. My instep is actually discolored from the excessive pressure, and I am constantly stopping to attempt to pull the toe band back down toward my toes, to relieve the pressure on my instep. It is embarrassing and inconvenient, when I take off my shoes and socks and attempt to pull the compression stocking back into place, especially in stores and other public places. The pressure on my instep does not allow my to wait until I'm in a private setting.
Great socks, September 18, 2017 By Anonymous (Oshkosh, WI)(Verified)
Great socks and helped me recover from surgery on my veins. The only problem I had was after wearing them for a while the top slipped down and I had to pull them back up. Better than other products.

Good fit, much better than Allegra
comfortable fit, December 13, 2016 By Anonymous (Philadelphia, PA)
I really like these in the higher compression. They have helped tremendously with swelling and varicose vein comfort. The silicone band is effective in keeping them in place and are much more practical comfortable than a full stocking at least during pregnancy.

Love these ! So much more comfortable then full hose. The silicon dots do the job! Bought another two pair. Fast shipping too!
Perfect for autonomic neuropathy!, June 22, 2016 By Anonymous (Lancaster, OH)
I have POTS (i.e. an autonomic neuropathy) and these stockings literally prevent me from being a prisoner to gravity. I have purchased Jobst for 3 years and have received excellent quality products every time. No other brand stocking holds up to daily wear for at least a year like Jobst does. BrightLife Direct has been the best supplier by far. They have the best prices, excellent customer service, quick order fulfillment and superior consistency. I highly recommend both Jobs and BrightLife.

Easy to put on and good compression but they slip down a little by the end of the day.
Happy with Jobst, April 24, 2016 By Theresa (Knoxville, TN)
The Jobst are great. They are doing their "job". The open toe are working well for open toe shoes and painted toes. Still love the silicone band.
Lymphedema relief at last!, April 14, 2016 By Megan (Jamestown, ND)
I have always received my garments through a prescription and healthcare accessories store. I decided to try something new as my previous stockings would snag or tear within 2 weeks 100% of the time. First off, brightlifedirect told me 14 days for shipping and my new garments arrived in 4. I have had my stockings for 6 weeks now and they still look brand new even though I wear them 24/7 and put them through the washing machine as I don't have time to hand wash. My swelling has drastically decreased in my affected limb, as well as my pain level and these stockings were only half the price of the defective stockings I previously wore. My only complaint is that I did not discover this company and these stockings earlier!
Leg support, April 10, 2016 By Theresa (Knoxville, TN)
I never would have thought about wearing support hose till they were prescribed. The Jobst have been easy to wear they feel good during the day, thick, but legs look nice. Silicone dot bands work, which is good, because I won't wear a garter belt. I am happy with the product.
Nice fit, March 23, 2016 By H Keith (LAKE MARY, FL)
