Core-Spun yarns are made by twisting polyester fibers around an inner core of Lycra, creating one yarn. This makes the stockings knit from this yarn very elastic, easy to don, and comfortable. Now available in XL-XXXL sizes. These are the largest off-the-shelf compression thigh highs available.
Core-Spun thigh high stockings look and feel like comfortable, everyday socks, but with the added benefit of medically correct graduated compression. The ultra stretchy yarns make this stocking easy to put on, and the added thickness makes the sock extremely comfortable for all-day wear.
Core-Spun in black is made with X-Static Silver polyester, and the white with CoolMax polyester. Silver is naturally antimicrobial, anti-static, and anti-odor. CoolMax does an amazing job of wicking moisture away from your skin. The result is a support stocking that is soft, comfortable, really easy to put on, and cool. White: 57% polyester, 28% nylon, 15% Lycra. Black: 57% polyester, 23% nylon, 17% Lycra, 3% X-Static. Made in USA.
A tad disappointed, April 11, 2018 By Anonymous (San Jose, CA)(Verified)
I got these for the compression I need in my lower legs but also for warmth in my upper legs. However the upper part of the stockings did not stay put. If they had I would have given a 5 rating.
Excellent product, April 5, 2018 By Lesli (Shreveport, LA)(Verified)
Purchased this for a friend; he loves them. Great product; compression is comfy and fabric mimics regular sock but in a THIGH HIGH! Congrats on a job well done with coming up with this idea to appeal to the guys who shy from traditional garments.
maybe great if you're tall?, September 19, 2017 By Anonymous (Goodyear, AZ)(Verified)
These are really thick, which would be nice for cooler weather. However, they're VERY long I have a 27" inseam and the short length was easily 6" too long, with the band at the very top of my thighs. They're very stretchy, but too stretchy in the length.
You can see the line between the compression gradations at the knee, which makes them look a little cheap and sloppy. The compression difference is pretty steep above and below that line it almost looked like I was wearing knee socks over a pair of old pantyhose. (for reference, I am a larger person, with 31" thighs and 21" calves.)
If you are thin and very tall, I think these might be decent discount stockings.
Good, but..., December 1, 2016 By Anonymous (Falmouth, NS, Canada)(Verified)
These stockings are good quality and warm for the winter. The compression is good and they fit me perfectly. Unfortunately, they don't stay up the thighs and tend to ride down when I walk.
Good Fit, November 11, 2016 By Paula Borne (Lacombe, LA)
Because of being short, I had a problem finding stocking to fit. your web sight was easy to use and get the stocking ordered. I have recommended this sight to my doctor.
Therafirm Core-Spun Compression Thigh Highs 20-30mmHg, October 14, 2016 By Jerry (Gainesville, FL)
This product arrived as advertised and on time. It is easy to put on and feels comfortable. I use it for 10 hours trans-Pacific flights.
Thigh High Stockings, September 8, 2016 By Linda Kimel (Williamson, NY)
The stocking worked great. True to size. The long IS long, only wish I measured that part and not just assumed I needed long.
Good Product, June 2, 2016 By Kristy (Marietta, OH)
I bought these Therafirm 20-30mmHg after buying a pair in white at a 15-20mmHg level of compression. I wanted a pair in black for work. The product is excellent and my favorite compression stocking by far. One word of advice....they are like thick warm socks so the spring/summer isn't the best time for this particular brand. However, it offered my size and the price was right so I've dealt with being a bit hotter. Also, after wearing the stockings for just one day, there is a small hole on the left knee, which is a bit disappointing. My 15-20mmHg that I bought first have held up well but the 20-30mmHg have developed the little hole. It's probably a lemon but I should contact the company for a replacement.
Great for cold weather wear!, May 7, 2016 By Anonymous (Columbus, MT)
Good fit, particularly around the thighs which demand more room than my lower leg. Much easier to put on, too. Too thick for the warm weather but very comfortable during the cold. Will have to buy several more pair for next winter.
My favorites, February 26, 2015 By Anonymous (Circleville, OH)
I have tried all kinds of compression hose since surgery to repair my shattered knee cap and these are the best. They stay up and are very comfortable. An added plus they are nice and warm during this never ending winter.
ok but rides down, February 22, 2015 By Anonymous (yonkers, NY)
This was a gift for my husband. The thickness is great for winter but it does ride down which is annoying.
well made but too long, February 6, 2015 By Anonymous (yonkers, NY)
They were bought as a gift, they were supposed to be short but long came. I thought being the person was 5'11, that long would be appropriate. I was wrong. It could of went passed the tummy and its supposed to be thigh high. My mistake. But the quality is well made.
Excellent product, December 31, 2014 By Adrialejo47 (Charlotte, NC)
I have spider veins that hurt and does not look good in skirts but the opaque color does the trick. You cannot even tell that are compression stockings and the silicone does holds it in place. True to size. Good product overall for the price
