Core-Spun yarns are made by twisting polyester fibers around an inner core of Lycra, creating one yarn. This yarn creates one of the most popular knee highs we sell, Core-Spun, now available in a thigh length compression stocking.
Core-Spun stockings look and feel like comfortable, everyday socks, but with the added benefit of medically correct graduated compression. The ultra stretchy yarns make this stocking easy to put on, and the added thickness makes the sock extremely comfortable for all-day wear.
Core-Spun in black is made with X-Static Silver polyester, and the white with CoolMax polyester. Silver is naturally antimicrobial, anti-static, and anti-odor. CoolMax does an amazing job of wicking moisture away from your skin. The result is a support stocking that is soft, comfortable, really easy to put on, and cool. White: 65% polyester, 25% nylon, 10% Lycra. Black: 64% polyester, 25% nylon, 10% Lycra and 3% X-Static. Made in USA.
Note: XL-XXXL sizes now available. These are the largest ready-to-wear sizes available in a compression thigh high.
Comfortable and good fit., July 26, 2017 By Anonymous (Glasgow, VA)
The tops of my other compression hose kept curling up and falling down making an uncomfortable "rubber band" ring around my thighs. I realized I needed a larger size hose and really had a difficult time finding these. They fit perfectly and do not roll down from the top. I just wish they came in tan or beige.
Therafirm Core-Spun Compresion Thigh Highs, June 15, 2017 By Illeana Rivera (Fredericksburg, VA)
I have purchased thigh highs before and they never fit very well. I have large legs and thighs and these socks are so comfortable. They provide the right compression, they go all the way up to the top of my thighs and although they provide the compression, they feel very good on my legs. I will buy these again. The Therafirm brand is just wonderful in both compression and comfort.

These Socks were just what my husband needed. He wears them every day and his injured knee is getting stronger

A bit difficult to get over my feet and ankles but very comfortable once they were on.
