Allegro Sheer Support thigh highs have a beautiful lace top with silicone bands that hold the stockings firmly yet comfortably in place. These support stockings also feature a reciprocated heel and a balloon toe for added comfort. Superlative compression hosiery does not have to be expensive -- the Allegro brand provides quality comfort and support identical to the famous brands that cost two to three times more.

This stocking provides 20-30 mmHg of gradient compression which helps improve blood flow, prevent edema (swelling), and reduce the discomfort caused by moderate to severe varicose veins. Woven from 80% nylon and 20% spandex in the USA. All Allegro stockings are latex free.

Sheer 20-30mmh Black Stockings are comfortable, but it has one unexpected style issue

"The box that the stockings came in said, "Unisex. " When I went to put to put them on for the first time, I found two different features. First, unlike other compression stockings, the is actually a toe pocket on the bottom end of the stocking which makes makes my toes feel more comfortable like the heel pocket. Many compression stockings just have seam at the bottom where my toes are enclosed and that a seam can be uncomfortable. They have been three times now and after washing and line dried, the tops of the stocking seem to fit higher up on my thighs like my other compression stockings. When I tried them on for the first time, the top of the stockings were just above my knees, but the more I wear them the more they feel comfortable wearing them. My only other issue is the style. I was really surprised when I saw that the tops of the stockings had lace designs on the top two inches of the stockings. Two or three days a week I go to a health complex to work out. Initially, I told my trainer that I wear thigh high compression stockings and I felt a little embarrassed about putting them on and off in an open locker room. He said that his experience has been that no one pays attention to what guy is wearing. So I have been wearing my thigh high stockings, and so far only one younger man stopped, when he saw me putting on the stockings. However, I am 6'6"tall. I do not plan to wear my new sheer compression stockings with the lace tops to an open locker room. Despite how good my legs look in my new sheer stockings, in the locker room, . . . . . . . . . . I prefer to be inconspicuous."

Q&A

Can these stockings be made with a silicone beaded top or would they not stay up as well?
Allegro is a brand that does not have the capability to do special orders. There are other brands we carry who can do special orders. Thank you
I don’t see the length of these any where. I have really big thighs like the XXXL but I’m only 5’4”. I find that most things like this is for someone who is 6 ft.
The thigh highs are 28" and will expand more. You might want to try another brand like Jobst and look at the Relief collection. Also Juzo, Sigvaris
Do these have a beaded silicone band?
Because of the lace top band they have two strips of silicone to hold them up. Thank you
Why is it that you do not offer more shades of compression hose in plus size? The only shade you offer that is even relatively similar to my complexion is the black. Have you even considered a coffee or expresso shade? You might have significantly more customers.
Out of the five plus size brands, Allegro has the most colors, Nude Fawn and Black. Juzo does special orders. Thank you
