"I'm not sure how to rate the fit. If I buy for foot size, the upper part of the sock is much, much too small. If I buy for calf size, I have to cut off about a third of the foot and sew the foot back together. This has actually turned out to be the best option for me. Wear them straight out of the package? Nope. The wicking fabric and the cushiness are both good."
