30-40 mmHg

These socks are often prescribed to provide relief from moderate to severe edema, varicose veins, and deep vein thrombosis. They’re also prescribed for post-sclerotherapy and to heal active venous stasis ulcers. This level of compression should only be worn under a doctor’s supervision.

Durable material but not great compression

"As always brightlife customer service is on point. I am a disappointed with these stockings. PROS: The material is sturdy. It is thick but not uncomfortable. it will take real effort for me to get a run in these. Compression around my ankle is phenomenal. CONS: I ordered my normal compression 30-40 mmHg yet I'm not getting the swelling control that I normally get from Sigvaris 233 or 843. I have to wear another older stocking underneath it. Also, I develop a weird shelf effect at the bottom of my calves. So my ankles will experience significant reduction while everything else stays swollen. The beaded top did not stay up. i had to stretch it under warm water for it to adjust to my thigh and stay up. If you are having a bad day and your leg is swollen more than normal, the stocking conforms to the shape of the leg. It didn't help to reduce the swelling Perhaps I need to play around with the sizing a little more because these are new, but the price point is not going to make that easy. I will stick with my trusted 233 for now. I really had high hopes for these."
