Medium and Long Stretch Bandages

Long-stretch bandages can stretch to approximately 140% to 300% of their original length. A traditional Ace bandage is a great example of a long stretch bandaging. This is not the ideal bandage to use for compression bandaging for lymphedema and edema. Long-stretch bandages should be used to help support injured muscles or tendons, or for use with splints.
