"I specifically bought these stockings because the description said the silver made your legs feel cooler. Not true! These actually feel hotter than the 3 other varieties I have tried. They are extremely soft and comfortable and that is a plus but I will be only to wear them when we have fairly cold weather in New Orleans so for the other 8 or so months of the year when it is hot here they will be fairly useless. These definitely have the unisex look to the material they aren't particularly fashionable but they aren't silver color anymore so that is a help. I would recommend for comfort and softness in cold weather but avoid these if you are buying for the claim they feel cooler they are actually hotter than most"
