These stockings are made from surgical weight fabric woven with a patented "float stitch" to create a precision gradient support stocking. The Allegro brand provides quality comfort and support identical to the famous brands that cost two to three times more.

This stocking provides 30-40 mmHg of gradient compression and should be worn under a doctor's supervision. This level helps relieve severe varicosities, severe edema (swelling), and chronic venous insufficiency. It helps during healing after surgical and sclerotherapy procedures and helps prevent venous ulcerations. This level also helps relieve superficial thrombophlebitis.

A “5” with a qualifier…

"I wore the first air aprox 15 times then and loved them so much I ordered another. I received the second pair and order them for a couple of days going back-and-forth with the ones from my first prayer. After a week or two I got a small hole about an inch below the top band on one of the socks in the first pair. The hole is a bit larger but no big deal if it doesn’t keep getting bigger. I will keep wearing them, and if the hole gets too large, and if the second pair develops a hole, I will probably not order more, of course. But I am really hopeful that this is a fluke and I will see no more holes, and after a couple weeks, I will be ordering a couple more pair if there are no problems. Other than that, I’ve been worrying these things for 11 years and yours are the best if there are no more holes :-) p. s. also love these because I don’t have to put any glue on them to keep them up. Outstanding! For me, I wear a size 13 shoe and they’re a bit snug but almost not worth mentioning"

"Again, the Allegro hose did not disappoint. I had been ordering XL which were too long. I ordered Large this time, and the hose are shorter from thigh to floor and do fit me better. I’m sure the foot size is shorter, too. I ordered the open-toe hose which are fine for summer, and I do wear 11-12 shoe size, and the closed toe are too short in the large size. These hose fit great."
