I am enjoying the allegro brand.
Toe Pockets Rule, February 15, 2018  By Jane Pearcy (Loganville, GA)(Verified)
Have worn the Allegro knee-highs for years and recommend them to anyone needing compression hose because of the wonderful "toe pockets" that prevent the stockings from compressing your toenails into your tonsils by the end of day as some other brands do.
Almost happy with them, February 11, 2018  By Anonymous (Lisle, IL)(Verified)
I liked the stockings but even tho I got the wide calf short they were still a little long in the foot & too tight on 1 leg at the knee. I'm looking for a wider calf or a wider band at the top so they don't cut into my swollen legs. Quality was good. Just wish they fit me better.
too long, January 25, 2018  By Anonymous (Montreal)(Verified)
although I ordered the short ones they were way too long.
Comfy socks, January 8, 2018  By Anonymous (Anchorage, AK)(Verified)
I love these socks. They are very comfy and don't band up on my lower legs like others. I also like that the toe area has lots of room and is not tight on my toes. They are also very affordable.
the BEST, January 5, 2018  By Anonymous (Franklin, WI)(Verified)
If you need to wear knee highs, you can't get any better products then these. The price is the best, the fit is the best and the comfort lasts all day long so you can't get any better.
If You Have to Wear Them, January 5, 2018  By Anonymous (Silver Bay, MN)
These compression stockings are great if you have to wear them! They were not as hard to put on as some I have had, they fit well, and felt good on my legs all day long. And they looked nice - not really like "Medical Necessity Hose".
Short is good, January 1, 2018  By Anonymous (Doylesburg, PA)(Verified)
MIL said they fit perfectly. I asked about length and she didn’t see a difference between what she had. I think her others are naturally short as one of her pairs came from my hospital stay where I couldn’t wear them? Besides thes are closed toe!

We bought these with thigh highs, she wants more of those because she doesn’t have any of those.

For what it is worth, I took my own open toe to the hospital recently and the nurses wanted to know where I got them! They liked how the wide and longer fit my leg!
Thumbs up, December 29, 2017  By Anonymous (Spencer, VA)(Verified)
Love these knee highs! The only drawback I have is that they are sometimes still too long, even though I order them short.
good stockings, December 28, 2017  By Anonymous (Slatington, PA)(Verified)
I have been purchasing these stockings for about eight years and have good results with them. They wash (in wash machine) well and except for the usual pulls or runs caused by a fingernail or snag from working around furniture they hold up well. They eventually have to be replaced and that is an easy thing to ordering is convenient, easy and fast.
Pretty long shorts, December 22, 2017  By Ann Howard (WallaWalla, WA)(Verified)
The regular length in theses knee highs was just a little long, so I bought the shorter length. I could barely tell the difference, and now when they co-mingle in the laundry, they are basically indistinguishable. I’m 5’5” tall. Would not recommend these to a shorter person.
Allegro Knee high 20-30mmHg, December 15, 2017  By Anonymous (Tracy, CA)(Verified)
I really like the Allegro Knee High that I received. I love the toe as it does not hurt my toes. I hope to order more next year. Thank you, JoNell
Exactly as expected, December 8, 2017  By Jennifer (Plano, TX)(Verified)
These were exactly as I expected. I've not worn compression hose before, mostly because the cute ones just don't fit my wide calves. These went on well and felt comfortable. They were still a little long for me I apparently have freakishly short shins.
Allegro Surgical Knee High 20-30 mmhg, November 26, 2017  By Anonymous (Tracy, CA)(Verified)
I have not tried them as yet since I just had my veins done must wear thigh hi for another 3 weeks. I do know I ordered short but I'm not short and I hope I will be able to wear them, and hope they stay up during the day. Thank You
Stockings that stay up, November 25, 2017  By Anonymous (CA)(Verified)
Nice fit and comfortable. I was surprised to find they stayed up. No need for me to keep pulling them up thru out the day.
Finally the right length!, November 16, 2017  By Leslie (Camarillo, CA)
After trying a number of other compression stockings that turned out to be too long for me, I found these short-length ones. They fit well and are are actually quite comfortable.
Just what I needed, November 11, 2017  By Anonymous (Baltimore, MD)(Verified)
The shorter length was just what I needed the regular length was just a tad too long. ????????
Comfortable All Day, August 31, 2017  By Anonymous (Loganville, GA)(Verified)
The comfort secret to these hose is the "toe pocket" that keeps your toenails from crushing your tonsils by the end of the day - like some other brands. And they come in a short version, which keeps them from rolling into a tourniquet under the knee. And they are very affordable. I buy 4 pair when on sale twice a year for price of one pair of another brand. And they hold up well.
still too long, August 16, 2017  By Anonymous (Bentonville, AR)(Verified)
The short socks are still too long for my stubby legs. (Not the stockings fault!) I cut off the top band and use the "It Stays" sticky roll-on gel to keep them up. The socks don't fray and it works good enough.

I have been wearing compression socks for a long time and have never found short ones like yours. Before I had a roll them down which makes them very uncomfortable! Thanks
Nice stockings, August 10, 2017  By Anonymous (Roanoke, VA)(Verified)
The fit is good and they actually stay up without rolling at the top.
Perfectly Short, July 5, 2017  By Rosanne (Franklin, WI)(Verified)
I am new to compression knee highs and had no idea on what would fit. Out of three brands I have tried so far, this Allegro is the only one that was easy to put on, stayed up all day and BEST of ALL, had NO extra inches of fabric to smooth out on my VERY short and full calf
Great price but made for people with big feet!, June 21, 2017  By Anonymous (Verified)
The fabric is soft and smooth and at least my toes don't get squished in these closed-toed compression stockings (I have a size 8 1/2, extra wide width foot) because there's an excessive amount of room in the foot. Unfortunately you can't adjust the excess. You can't pull the excess up because the heel area has promenant heel markings that are hard enough to cover up in your shoe. If you don't wear open-toed shoes you could pull the excess fabric up and fold it under your toes and hope it doesn't slowly ride up and collect at the ankles. Maybe they're made for men?
Actually stay up!, June 18, 2017  By Anonymous (Roanoke)(Verified)
These compression stockings actually stay up without the help of adhesive!! Fit great!
Compression knee his, May 30, 2017  By Anonymous (Roanoke, VA)(Verified)
I think these will do nicely after my procedure. They are a nice surgical weight and the fit is great.
