Great stockings for maternity, October 28, 2018 By Anonymous (Glenmont, NY)(Verified)
I am tall and these were more than long enough. Good support for varicose veins and reasonably comfortable to wear every day
Great Product, May 18, 2018 By Anonymous (Avondale, AZ)
This product has been amazing for my pregnancy. They are comfortable to wear and the sheer material is very light weight, which makes wearing them in the heat more tolerable.
Great Maternity Hose, March 9, 2018 By Anonymous (Avondale, AZ)
This is a great product. They are comfortable to wear all day. This product provides the mild compression I was looking for and fits the description of the product to the finest detail!.
I'd buy them again!, May 7, 2017 By Anonymous (Branson, MO)
I'm very pleased with these maternity support hose, mainly because they stay up! This is my third pair (and brand) and they have the best waistband by far. The others I've owned were always falling down. (I do not wear the waistband on top of or above the baby, but on my hips.) The reasons I give them a 4 star rating instead of 5: the compression is not quite as tight as another pair of 15-20mmHg I had and they did not have a lighter (nude) color offered. Despite the compression being a little less, they still help my legs and painful veins.
Too small, January 23, 2016 By Anonymous (Bennett co)
I bought a size medium according to the sizing chart.(I had bought size Tall for a previous pregnancy and found that they got bunched up at the ankles because they were too long) The size medium went half way over my belly, was tight and so uncomfortable I had to cut a few slits in the waist to give myself room to breathe. Then, as the day went on, the hose slid down until the crotch was at my knees. Very uncomfortable! The compression is good and these would work great if the length, belly and waist were fitted correctly.

These have felt like lifesavers! 4th pregnancy. Previous pregnancies were with 10lb babies so I decided some support might be in store this time around. Started to get my first varicose vein in my leg this time around and wearing these has kept it at bay. They are Comfortable. More comfortable than I anticipated. They stay up on my belly. Glad I tried this inexpensive brand rather than the $60-$80 ones. These do the trick just fine!
llegro Sheer Maternity Pantyhose, August 30, 2015 By Chime (wayne, PA)
Ok, August 5, 2014 By Anonymous (Marietta, GA)
These pantyhoses are quite uncomfortable around the belly area since it only covers 2/3 of my abdomen. I ordered size petite since I'm 4'11", 115 lb, 22 weeks. However, these are pretty tight around the crotch and belly area for me. The material is sheer, thin, rough, and itchy to me. I'm on my feet 13 hours, 3 days per week and my feet are still very swollen at the end of the day with these on. I wore Jobst and Activa 20-30 mm Hg prepregnant but their maternity pantyhoses are so expensive so I opted for these. I guess these will work for this week.
too big, May 9, 2014 By R Zohner
before buying I read all the reviews. Several women mentioned the wished they had bought their hose a size larger. I did this on their suggestions. DON'T DO IT! Compression hose should not and can not bunch up on the legs. they need to be pulled taut. When they aren't they will bunch or pinch. These aren't the nicest brand, but are serviceable. I found the weave of this material to be itchy and uncomfortable. I much prefer the silky feel of Jobst, but the price for moderate compression was too high.
Great maternity support, April 16, 2014 By Anonymous (Chicago, IL)
Easy to put on. Not too hot & supportive without being too tight in the abdomen. I just wish they offered a pair with higher pressure support in the legs and maybe more color options!
very good, March 19, 2014 By Anonymous (Cambridge, MA)
I am 5 ft and 105 lbs (pre-pregnancy). I was afraid I could not find maternity hose that would fit so well. Very comfortable, excellent support. I would recomment.

I have worn these pantyhose with my last 6 pregnancies (I'm currently pregnant) and they have been a lifesaver. The upper leg and crotch area stay put and feel much more comfortable than other brands I've tried. I find the waistband comfortable and it stays put as well. I've worn these babies every waking moment during my pregnancies and for someone who hates (HATES) wearing pantyhose that is saying a lot. I am truly grateful this product is on the market. Thanks Allegro.

Excellent! I got these for my daughter who had terrible swelling during her pregnancy. They worked great and she did not have any problem with the fit around her belly. She was on the edge of two sizes so I got one pair of either size. Both were great.
After getting my All…, May 26, 2010 By Anonymous (Salem, IN)
After getting my Allegro sheer hose I really liked them because they gave me plenty of support in my legs but they weren't so tight that I couldn't get them on by myself. I would give them a 3 out of 5 because the belly portion only covers about 2/3 of my belly and I am only in the beginning of my 6th month. The elastic is so tight around the top that it cuts into my belly and hurts very badly. It also feels like it is pulling my belly down creating a lot of pressure on my pelvis and lower belly. I finally broke down and cut the elastic around the top and that has helped a TON! I ordered based on the sizing chart and feel like maybe a larger size would have helped but I'm not tall enough for a larger size. I have been wearing them 3 days a week for about 5 weeks and they are beginning to get a little "ratty" and I will need another pair. I think I will try a pair of thigh highs next time and see if those are better.Overall Brightlife sent them VERY quickly and have a wonderful website to order from. I will be ordering the thigh highs from them.

This support stocking is really helpful for my varicose problem during my pregnancy. I like the price too much cheaper than other brand. However I do not think that this stocking will last long enough. It show some tears after wearing it for 1 week. I do not know if it was because the size was too small or because I washed it wrong. I contacted Pete Smiley if I could order 3 more in a larger size and get 1 free ( this stocking is eligible for buy 4 get 1 three) and he approved it. After all I am very satisfied with the service. Hope those new ones can' survive" until my due date on July

They do the trick on airplanes but wearing pantyhose feels really old fashioned and kind of gross. I can't bring myself to wear these on a daily basis as I'm not elderly. I would really like a thicker stocking version. Not sheer either. A support stocking as opposed to hose would also be very helpful in the winter months for warmth since comfortable pants are difficult to find during pregnancy.

I feel more comfortable in Allegro's regular support stockings. The maternity pantyhose's waistband is too tight and the tummy panel too small. You can only pull it halfway your belly. I might try a larger size but for this pair I went by the size instructions.
