Imagining your legs resting on a cloud and wearing compression socks are probably not images you would put together. But you will when you try the Milk Sock.
This amazing compression stocking is woven using milk fiber. Milk fiber is made from casein, a protein in milk, and was developed in the 1930's. Milk fiber is extremely soft and silky, but fell out of fashion after WWII when cheaper synthetics like nylon became available. A small hosiery mill near Verona, Italy combines milk fiber with viscose, nylon and spandex to make this wonderful sock.
The Milk Sock provides moderate graduated compression of 15-20 mmHg, which makes it great for everyday wear, mild swelling, standing or walking for long periods of time, and for travel. When we photographed this sock, our model yelled "wow" when she put it on. This stocking is so soft against your skin, you will hardly feel the compression.
Extremely Satisfied, September 27, 2018 By John (Medford, MA)
The size chart is accurate, they fit perfect. First time use took a little extra effort to get on and adjusted properly. That improved by the third time and now it is easy for me. The roomy toes are perfect without cramping or pinching. While these socks are on, I forget that they are compression socks. They are extremely comfortable and superior to other compression socks I have worn. And the price is very reasonable for a product of this quality. I love them and am going to order more!
Comfortable compression kneesocks, August 13, 2018 By Lenore Counsell (Asheville, NC)(Verified)
I find these milk cotton compression kneesocks to be very practical, comfortable and washable to help keep swelling down in my lipedema in feet and ankles. I wear them for walking or days when I'm on my feet more. Brightlife Direct is a great company to order from as my orders are priced well and come quickly and correctly!

Love them...they are soft and supportive
Most comfortable compression knee socks., July 9, 2018 By Lenore (Asheville)(Verified)
These, allegro milk socks, are my favorite compression knee socks out of several types I have tried over the past year. They are comfortable and keep swelling down greatly as well as wash and dry well. Highly recommend them.
Very comfortable and easy to put on, May 30, 2018 By Anonymous (vienna, VA)(Verified)
I really like these socks and have recommended them to others. They are so easy to put on, are comfortable and last a long time. They are my go-to compression socks for every day wear.
Good product!, January 4, 2018 By Anonymous (Streamwood, IL)(Verified)
Best compression stocking of any that I've tried (about half a dozen styles.) They are a bit long and tight on my leg near my knee, but I simply fold them down to be more comfortable. I ordered the white ones also and find these issues more pronounced than the black ones. Also, great customer service staff who helped select this product, sizing, and dealing with a return.
Silky Soft, August 30, 2017 By Phillip McD (jacksonville2mac.com, FL)(Verified)
Softest cotton sock I have ever worn. Even feel great to the hand while putting them on your foot! Bought a pair in every color. Appear to be very well made, tightly woven. Hope they last a long time.
Cloud soft, March 13, 2017 By Janet (Elkhorn, WI)(Verified)
I have been wearing these socks for over a year now I think. They are perfect! I get the support I need without feeling too tight after hours, and they are soooo soft I love them!!!
Allegro Premium Milk Socks 15-20, February 23, 2017 By Anonymous (Camarillo, CA)(Verified)
I had to exchange for one size smaller and they still do not stay up. They are very soft and feel good
Great Quality, January 7, 2017 By Danielle (Cooper City, FL)(Verified)
Feels so soft but stays on, a little pricey.
Allegro premium milk socks 15-20mm, January 5, 2017 By Anonymous (Las Vegas, NV)(Verified)
excellent quality! Comfortable except they are too tight on top & cut into my legs under the knee
Disappointed, November 16, 2016 By Anonymous (Marion, VA)(Verified)
Though these socks were recommended by the representative who wears them herself and are good quality, they did not work for me. I was so hopeful these would fit well and be my new compression sock to replace a discontinued brand, but they were too long and the ankle section too tight, so if they can be returned it is my plan to do so.

Allegro milk socks, August 17, 2016 By Henni (Canton, MI)
These are the best fitting knee high socks and the support is very good
Very disappointing, August 5, 2016 By Anonymous (TX)
The socks are heavier and thicker than I had anticipated, but the most disappointing thing is that after wearing them three times, I discovered a hole in the top of one of the socks near the top band. Cannot, in good faith recommend these to anyone.
Allegro Milk Socks, April 27, 2016 By Janie Joswick (Broken Arrow, OK)
I recently bought 3 different brands of knee high compression socks. I liked 2 brands just fine, but I LOVE MY ALLEGRO PREMIUM MILK SOCKS! They are super soft and stay in place all day without hurting my legs. I highly recommend them to anyone after surgery.
Wonderful!, February 27, 2016 By Anonymous (ismay, MT)
I bought three pair of cotton and the customer service rep suggested I try a pair of Milk Socks as well. Super comfortable! Great recommendation.
Great socks, February 17, 2016 By Gavin Davis (Pasadena, CA)
I was hesitant to dive in and purchase compression sock, but now one month later I am glad that I did. Of the variety that I purchased I have to say that these are the most versatile - they look dressy enough to wear to work and can easily be worn in a casual setting too.
My one complaint, but really not a complaint, is that based on the description on the product page I was expecting the most amazing material ever created, but truthfully it just feels like a really nice cotton/wool blend.
Overall great socks and I would say they are the nicest, most comfortable socks I own, but I do not cry out "wow!" when I put them on.
Very soft., February 11, 2016 By Carole L (Phila, PA)
Really nice - ranks up there with EASE. Goes on smoothly; almost fits my size 11 foot; and is easy to remove. Will definitely buy more. But I'm looking for tan or Khaki, etc. - which are not an option now.
Great Socks, But Not For People With Thin Legs, January 31, 2016 By Judith Newman (Metairie, LA)
I bought these for my mother because I have some and love them. Unfortunately, she can't wear them because her calf muscle is too small, and the socks don't come any smaller. Her calf measures 10", for anyone trying to decide if they will fit. The size chart for these socks doesn't list a calf size, only the ankle and shoe size. These socks are baggy on her, don't provide any support, and won't stay up. Needless to say, I returned them. For people with a larger calf size they're great socks, which is why I gave them four stars.
Great Socks, January 10, 2016 By Judith Newman (Metairie, LA)
I love these socks. They are very comfortable and easy to put on, just what I need for winter. I wear the calf sleeves in the summer because I like to go barefoot, but in the winter I prefer a footed product. When I first got these, they looked like they might not be long enough and/or not stay up well, but I soon found out neither of these was the case. They are plenty long enough (and I have long legs), and they stay up just fine. There really is nothing not to love about these socks. Will definitely buy again.
Great product, December 31, 2015 By Phyllis Todd (Decatur, AL)

AMAAAAZING!, December 29, 2015 By Marge
These socks are amazingly comfortable. They feel great on my skin and very easy to put on. Usually I struggle a bit to get my socks on, but these just slide right on and I still get the compression I need. A++
