Allegro Men's Leotard is a waist-high compression garment designed specifically for men. It features a closed toe and a comfortable "brief" top with a fly opening. The foot has a reciprocated heel and balloon toe for comfort. Allegro brand provides quality, comfort, and support identical to the famous brands that cost two to three times more.

This stocking provides 20-30mmHg of gradient compression and helps improve blood flow, prevent edema (swelling), and reduce the discomfort caused by moderate to severe varicose veins. Woven from 80% nylon and 20% spandex in the USA.
Hand wash in lukewarm water with a mild detergent. Hang to dry. Do not wring. Do not use bleach Woolite or fabric softeners. Do not iron. Do not tumble dry.

Still Comfy, September 10, 2018  By John Schinker (Atlantic, IA)(Verified)
Here it is a month later. I love how wearing these daily have held up and been easy to wear. A big tip as per the recommendations!!! Hand washing and laying out to dry is best!!! I only machine wash it I were to get any stains that hand washing is harder -(dried blood or fluids from edema, grass, mud, etc). Amazed on how really comfortable these are! Practically and functionality are getting an A+. For all you edema patients, get these stockings!! I have full lower legs edema, so these leotard type do me well. Get yourself some too!!!!
Functionality and Comfortable, August 7, 2018  By John Schinker (Atlantic, IA)(Verified)
Since I need to wear edema stock is daily, being comfortable is important. I have in the past worn both thigh high and waist high. These go above the waistline so adjustment is easy throughout the day. The color black is no more or no less hotter. What I mean is all stockings makes me a bit warmer. They breathe great, just that I feel a bit hotter. Being the pantyhose type you get used to pulling up both legs at the same time. By the third day I had it down. These have kept control of my edema quite well.
Allegro waist high men's leotard, March 3, 2018  By Anonymous (Bellingham, WA)
Being new to the compression stocking users I can't comment on many different brands or styles. The Allegro men's leotards are my third style and second brand. These are vastly superior to the thigh high and pantyhose style that I were available through my local pharmacy.
The biggest difference is that they're mostly long enough to stay up for a hike or extended times of standing and/or sitting and they're designed for a man. My previous experience was having the the thigh highs sliding off in about 5 minutes or the pantyhose type trying to pull my jeans off in about 15 minutes of walking even with "It Stays!" being used.
Brightlife pricing has the Allegros at about half the price I'd paid for the thigh highs and just over a third of the pantyhose price.
The rating of four stars is only because the Allegros start wanting to pull down a bit after a bit but are easily adjustible. Also one pair developed a run at a seam which my wife fixed with some clear nail polish.
As a 6' tall guy these are the best answer I've found for compression stockings as prescribed my doctor.

These have always fit the bill as far as my need. Much less expensive than subscription type. do wish they came in nude.

The leotards were right on time.

The stocking works great, just a little hard to get on. I am a RBKA amputee and had to cut the right leg off just to get on. The "fly" works great and they stay up very well. Thanks for a good product performs up to expectations!

Daily user of compression wear, May 17, 2017  By Anonymous (Atlantic, IA)(Verified)
I have used many types of comp wear for years. The short stretch wraps I use in a pinch. But, after wearing waist high Allegro's, comfort in softness a plus, and they do stay in place. This replaces the hip attachment I wore.

This is a good pair for men.
Men's Allegro leotard, January 22, 2016  By Anonymous (Aston, PA)
They did exactly what they are meant to do. However, as for women too I would have made the waste band larger. I would also have more sizes that give you a better choice as to men's height. The leotards are way to long in the leg portion. and it would be good to have a cotton gosset to avoid friction against the testicles.
Decent, January 20, 2016  By Adam (SA, TX)
First time I ordered a pair of presized hose designated for men. I guess from all the years of wearing custom fit garments and wearing off the shelve waist high hose marketed only for women, I guess I am left with a bit of disappointment.

Pros: The fly. Though like other reviewers have stated, it doesn't offer much support how the brief is designed with the fly, but it still is a plus. Especially how there are so few brands out there that don't have any waist high products marketing or designed for men.

Cons: They are surgical weight hose. The material is not soft like the Juzo, Medi, or Jobst brands nor do they have much breathing area between stitching so this might be uncomfortable in the hotter climates compared to other opaque lines.

Also, the length of the hose for a medium (smallest size) is a bit too long for a person of 5" 9'. I'm a millennial and I tend to wear the hose a bit lower on my waist right under my "small" torso/gut. If I am exercising, I'll have to pull them up to my navel and more or less use adhesive to keep them in place.

Additionally one of the pairs I bought had runs at the reinforced heel portion before even donning. So I assume this is a weak spot for these hose. So be careful guys.

Overall, for the price over more expensive hose, I'd say you can't go wrong especially if you guys want a line of hose marketed to only men.

Advice to Allegro, use the same microfabric material in your other lines of hose but keep the compression the same. I'm willing to put up more money for hose like that with fly/closed toe portion.

The large size is a little big. Ordered a medium but it's on back order.

The garment works very effectively. Only thing is the fly for men could offer more support.
Great quality, fit and price, November 12, 2014  By Bill Babcock (Haiku, HI)
I'm very satisfied with these leotards. I wore them on the five hour flight to Maui, and every day since, including surfing and paddling standup boards. Comfortable and effective for my venous insufficiency issue. I have no swelling at all when I wear these.

G day mate, Great when you stitch up the fly and use a bit of It Stays. Good on cold and hot days, even at 52 celsius (125f). They handle a lot of punishment when putting on. it would be nice if I did not have to wear them, but I do. Without brightlife direct I would be paying more for a product to do the job I expect. This item delivers in every way.

I tried wearing waist high but found it very frustrating because they kept feeling like they were sliding down. It was an uncomfortable feeling so I finally switched to thigh high which have worked out perfectly.

The quality of the product seems excellent (which I am now using after sclerotherapy on both legs) and I am quite pleased - the price was unusually attractive. Your return policy is generous but I am glad I didn't have to use it. Your website is also excellent and I would not hesitate to recommend it to anyone who needs any of your products
