No crease knee highs, May 23, 2018 By Ronda Orchard (Rio Rancho, NM)
When researching compression socks in general I came across a man's concern that he wished he could find a sock that did not pull the hairs on his legs. Until that comment, I had never considered that comfort issue. Personally, I recently injured the top of my foot and broke my big toe and after a few days I found blood pooling in my foot. I went to the emergency room and the only instruction I was given was to wear compression apparel because I had pitting edema running up my leg.
So naturally, I ran to the nearest pharmacy and got something off the shelf having absolutely no information about compression strengths or even how long I should wear these stockings. As many will confirm, some stockings are just murder to put on. I then wanted to find something that would be comfortable and COOL for the summer months and that's when I found this sock.
To start, they were in a 15-20 mmHg range, super easy to put on and after wearing them throughout the day at two jobs (at least 15 hours), I had virtually none of that sweaty feeling when I removed my shoes. Perhaps one of the nicest things about this sock is there is no "constricting" elastic that leaves indentations at the top of the leg. Other socks needed to be rolled down every so often to relieve this type of discomfort. Comfort! That may be the single adjective to use in this review, but I wanted to give the fullest review possible. Especially if you are someone that is new to compression socks and no matter whether you are a man or woman, this sock will be a hit for the duration you will have to endure when wearing compression apparel.

Very happy with product. Good quality so far I would have given 5 stars but these are the only stockings I have tried Content with my purchase.
Allegro Essentials, March 22, 2018 By Anonymous (Diamond Bar, CA)(Verified)
Did not like. The toe has too much material and makes for a bulk in shoe and makes toes uncomfortable and the heel is to big.
Allegro Essential, March 10, 2018 By Anonymous (Berea, OH)
I have tried other brands and find that these socks fit me better. I also like the reasonable price.
great fabric, February 14, 2018 By Anonymous (Puyallup, WA)(Verified)
Loved the fabric which will be cool in summer but the foot was way too long. Don't have short style so am searching for a better fitting size. So far not successful. Am most disappointed that this sock doesn't come in short.
Allegro Essential Cotton Compression Sock, February 10, 2018 By Anonymous (Columbia, MO)
Great product at a great price. I tried to buy socks locally but the prices were way high and I was allergic to the material. Cotton is very comfortable and the compression is perfect.

this mostly cotton item is extremely comfortable and offers all the support you'll need despite its 15-20mmHg rating.
Worth the price!, October 15, 2017 By Anonymous (Hampton, GA)(Verified)
I bought these socks during a never ending search to find socks that would be snug enough not to be uncomfortable, but also not so snug that it causes circulation problems. I have been very pleased with these and even rate them better than the Copper Fit compression socks. I will be purchasing several more pair in the future, Great value for the price! Also, the size finder is worth its weight in gold.
LOVE THEM!!, August 27, 2017 By Anonymous (North St. Paul, MN)(Verified)
These socks are the best. When I'm ready to order again, these will be the socks I buy. They are so much cooler than other fabrics. This summer has been pretty humid, and I still feel comfortable in these cotton socks.
GREAT PRODUCT, June 19, 2017 By JOHN LEFEBVRE (ST PETERSBURG, FL)(Verified)
This pair is a lot easier to put on and much easier to get off after a long day of wearing them. My swollen legs have been reduced surprisingly and they feel great. I can walk with much more ease. Thanks for a good looking product that wears well.
TOO MUCH BALLOON TOE AREA MAKES MY FOOT HURT!, June 8, 2017 By Anonymous (STATEN ISLAND, NY)(Verified)
Although the description notes a balloon toe area, I was expecting that it would be more roomy and less constrictive in the toe area; I did not expect so much loose material to cause discomfort in that toe area.
Excited to have 3 more pair of cotton socks!, February 10, 2017 By Anonymous (Woodstock, GA)(Verified)
I bought a pair of the compression socks last year. They are still working fine with all day wear while standing. I do wash and dry them in with regular laundry. Now I am excited to have 3 more pair and a second for my husband. Easy to get on, comfortable, and roomy in the toes. Too bad I will have to switch back to nylon when I start wearing capris in the spring.
They work, December 9, 2016 By Anonymous(Verified)
Initially these didn't seem that tight when I put them on but they are very effective for reducing/preventing my ankle edema during pregnancy. I bought a medium and the foot is a tad big.
very comfortable, December 7, 2016 By Anonymous (Mountain View, CA)(Verified)
wear these preventatively + on planes. Very comfy, can wear all day. Only criticism is it feels like they lost a little bit of tightness after only a few times wearing, but that may be normal for compression socks (this is my first pair).

Just got these and I couldn't be happier. In fact, I just ordered a couple more pair

foot out of proportion, October 22, 2016 By Anonymous (Milwaukee, WI)(Verified)
Not a bad sock, but the foot is too large. Toe area extended out past my foot. Too big in foot area.

Sorry they can't go in the dryer, though.

Unisex compressions socks, February 24, 2016 By Anonymous (Andover, MA)
I bought theses stocks for my husband to use when he travels. He had said they really help to prevent the swelling.
Love the feel of cotton!, February 15, 2016 By Anonymous (Woodstock, GA)
I ordered one pair of the unisex compression socks for me and one pair for my husband. The 15-20 mmHg pressure works for me all day long while standing on my feet. At the end of the day, I am not in a hurry to get out of the socks when I finally sit down because the cotton is natural. They are easy to get on and yet they do the job. Very roomy at the toes also.
