Core-Spun support socks for men and women look and feel like a soft, comfortable everyday sock, with the added benefit of medically correct gradient compression. The ultra stretchy yarns make the sock easy to put on, and the added thickness makes the sock extremely comfortable for all-day wear.
Core-Spun yarns are made by twisting fibers around an inner fiber creating one yarn. Therafirm uses spandex as the core yarn, and either X-Static Silver polyester (black), or CoolMax (white) yarns on the outside. The result is a support sock that is soft, comfortable, really easy to put on, and cool. 72% Polyester, 22% Nylon, 6% Spandex. Made in USA.
Hand wash in warm water with a mild detergent. Air dry. Do not tumble dry. Do not iron. Do not dry clean.

I really like these socks but the tops are too tight for calf of my legs so I just turn them down. By the end of the day I have to move them around to keep from cutting into my leg.Every pair I have purchased gives my the same problem. Cannot buy bigger shoe size or sock would rub my foot. I first ordered two of the corespun socks to try them out and then reordered 6 more and that is all that I wear now. I use to wear TED's but they became too constrictive where my foot bent as the day went on. I then tried Sigvaris which worked well except they were thicker than I wanted. Really love these socks. I have wide muscular calves for a woman and these socks stay up but do not bind at the top. The yarn is soft and comfortable providing warmth but not too hot. The only thing that bothers me is that the toes tend to get worked backward so that the socks get tight around my toes when I am on my feet for long periods (12+ hour shifts). Easily corrected with a quick tug to loosen them back up. Compression feels good not too snug and very easy to put on. Will definitely buy more.

I have received my second order of Therafirm Core Spun Support Socks. After wearing the Core Spun Socks for several years I will never wear any other kind.I have worn other types and brands of support socks for over 20 years.
