Allegro Surgical Weight thigh highs for men and women feature a silicone stay-up band, and are available with a closed or open toe. These stockings are made from surgical weight fabric woven with a patented "float stitch" to create a precision gradient support stocking. Superlative compression hosiery does not have to be expensive -- the Allegro brand provides quality comfort and support identical to the famous brands that cost two to three times more. This stocking provides 30-40mmHg of gradient compression and should be worn under a doctor’s supervision. This level helps relieve severe varicosities, severe edema (swelling), and chronic venous insufficiency. It helps during healing after surgical and sclerotherapy procedures and helps prevent venous ulcerations. This level also helps relieve superficial thrombophlebitis. Made from 75% nylon, 25% spandex in the USA.
