I very happy with this product.
the best stockings for fit and fabric, November 7, 2015 By Erica (Arlington, VT)
I've tried other brands, but Medi is superior. The fabric breathes, even in hot weather, and does not run easily. The silicone band stays up. And they have petite sizes, which are a godsend for folks with short legs. I have been buying Medi for nearly 10 years because they are the best. Totally worth the $$. And they wash and dry in my washing machine and dryer. A great value.
Best stocking, easy care, durable, May 9, 2015 By Anonymous (Arlington, VA)
I've tried other brands, but Medi is the best. They can be machine washed and dried. They stay up, and they breathe, even in hot and humid weather. Highly recommended. Brightlife mails quickly and are a pleasure to deal with.

I have been more than satisfied with this brand for years. Comfortable, relatively easy to put on.
Good Thigh Highs, November 11, 2013 By Anonymous (Fort Lauderdale, FL)
I really like the Mediven. They are more durable than Juzo. All my Juzos have run, but none of my Medis. The only problem I have with them is they bunch behind the knee a little. I have to pull them up often. Otherwise, great product.

I like how these stockings fit and feel. I do not like the CID. I thought I was ordering exactly the same stocking I have ordered in the past. Apparently not. Need an easy way to "re-order'Thank you.Jane Auker
I have had these for…, March 12, 2012 By Anonymous (Miami, FL)
I have had these for more than 6 months. I bought them initially over the comparable (and extremely comfortable) Jobst version I had previously because the color options better suited my needs. I have to say I am surprised at the very poor design. The color was just as I expected and the legs themselves are fairly comfortable. However the bands at the top caused a great deal of pain. I am surprised that I did not see other reviews mentioning this - I bought them because the reviews were so positive. I thought that the silicon was applied poorly because it caused constant pain and felt like it was ripping the skin on my thighs. I could not walk in them for more than about 30 minutes before needing to take them off and my skin was all red. I tried applying a dry deodorant around the area to make my legs slippery and prevent the pulling which did help a bit but in the end I could not wear them so only wore them about 6 times before giving up. I assumed this was something wrong with me because I have Fibromyalgia perhaps I was oversensitive to pain. Just recently after not using them for 6 months I tried putting them on again. I realized that it was the design all along - I ever noticed before but the the bands are made of this awful material that is so scratchy it actually has tiny spikes in the fabric which are easy to see and feel when one inspects them. The choice to have the silicon only weave across this fabric so that large sections of it poke through directly to the skin makes this even worse because the spiky material scratches both the thigh of the leg it is on and the outside of the material scrapes the skin of the opposite thigh. It is inexcusable that the makers allowed this product to be sold this way anyone could tell that it would hurt because it even hurts to run your hands along it. If I had not been so sick earlier I would have realized this and returned the product immediately for a refund. I do not recommend that anyone purchase these. I will go back to the Jobst variety I found the color to be ugly but I can wear them all day and do not even want to take them off. I will keep looking for something with a better color to wear in hot weather when my legs are visible.

The stockings are comfortable. I am not crazy about the silicone band at the top. It is not enough to keep the stockings up all day since I have to stand pretty much all day at work. I still need to use the "It Stays" under the silicone band.Overall I would buy these stockings again.

I have worn Jost and Sigvaris compression stockings in the past. But I like the MediVen products better because of their durabiiity. I have had less problems with snags or runs in the MediVen hose.
