Lymphedema is caused by a malfunction or damage to the lymphatic system. It can affect any part of the body, but most typically occurs in the extremities (arms or legs). There is no cure for lymphedema, but it can usually be managed successfully with massage therapy, wrapping, and compression.
Compression arm sleeves are mainly used for the prevention and treatment of lymphedema. They can also be prescribed to treat phlebitis, post-thrombotic syndrome, post-liposuction, blood poisoning, tennis elbow and for burn treatment.

CircAid compression garments provide dynamic compression. Their leg garments, Juxta Fit and Juxta Lite are inelastic and provide compression similar to bandaging. The compression increases when you are active and decreases when you're at rest. This change in compression improves blood flow and reduces edema more dramatically. It also means the garment can be worn round-the-clock if necessary, without discomfort.
