Every brand of compression stockings has it’s own unique sizing. A medium in one brand isn’t a medium in another. Measuring properly, and checking the size chart for the specific product you need, will ensure you get a garment that fits properly.
If you swell during the day, measure first thing in the morning

ANKLE Measure around your ankle at the narrowest point, normally just above the ankle bone.

CALF Measure around the widest part of your calf. To determine the widest point, push against the back of your calf with the palm of your hand. You can now easily see the widest point.

LENGTH Measure the distance from the floor to the bend behind your knee..
