Allegro Surgical Weight thigh highs for men and women feature a silicone stay-up band, and are available with a closed or open toe. These stockings are made from surgical weight fabric woven with a patented "float stitch" to create a precision gradient support stocking. The Allegro brand provides quality comfort and support identical to the famous brands that cost two to three times more.
This stocking provides 30-40mmHg of gradient compression and should be worn under a doctor’s supervision. This level helps relieve severe varicosities, severe edema (swelling), and chronic venous insufficiency. It helps during healing after surgical and sclerotherapy procedures and helps prevent venous ulcerations. This level also helps relieve superficial thrombophlebitis. Made from 75% nylon and 25% spandex in the USA. All Allegro stockings are latex free.
Hand wash in lukewarm water with a mild detergent. Hang to dry. Do not wring. Do not use bleach Woolite or fabric softeners. Do not iron. Do not tumble dry.

These are great. I have the sleeve to help get them on. I work on my feet all day and doc told me to wear some type of compression stocking. These feel great.

Developed a hole in the side of the stocking after wearing it one time.
Great product, reasonable cost, February 23, 2016 By Anonymous (Boulder, CO)
These are great support stockings: comfortable, long-lasting, effective. I had tried several other brands before finding these, but I won't go back.
Allegro thigh-high 30-40 open toe, February 13, 2016 By Amy Wong (San Ramon, CA)
I've been using the Jobst compression stockings, and wanted to try the less expensive Allegro. I thought it was worth the savings. Jobst is more comfortable. Allegro is more textured or rough. But Allegro seems to hold the strength of the compression longer, with extended usage. I also like the open toe of Allegro better, because I can pull on socks over the open toe compression stocking without the toe band of the stocking getting displaced - maybe because Allegro is thinner than Jobst, and Allegro seems to be tighter, or hold its compression more than Jobst.
Great Company, January 26, 2016 By Jimmie Maddix (Southfield, MI)
I like dealing with Brightlfe Direct. They have excellent products and the most affordable prices
These are a very tight fit which is good however they are difficult to get on and the fabric could be damaged if not put on properly.

Very good product at a reasonable price, August 14, 2015 By Anonymous (Croton on Hudson, NY)
I have been wearing these stockings for many years and they are very good quality at a reasonable price. Compared to much more expensive product they really stand up very well.
Great product at a good price, August 14, 2015 By Anonymous (Croton on Hudson, NY)
I have been using this product for quite a while now and it is a great product at a good price. Really stands out in a category where other stockings are much more expensive and not better in quality.
Great product!, August 13, 2015 By BolderMike (Boulder, CO)
I have had deep vein thrombosis for many years and over the years I have used many support stockings. For the last several years I have used the Allegro stockings exclusively. They are effective, enduring, and not expensive. Bright Life has provided excellent service.

I have been using Bright Life for years to get my Allegro stockings. the stockings are great and the service top notch.
reliable standard, July 13, 2015 By Anonymous (Berea, OH)
I've been wearing the Allegro 20-30mmHg for five years. Then I had surgery and had to wear the 30-40 24 hours a day for a week. The Allegro surgical is durable and suitable for daily wear, and my vascular specialist examined it and said, "that's good hose." It retains compression for a long time. However, it constricts too much at the top of the thigh for 24-hour wear. I also found that the silicone strips tended to flip down. For that reason, I wound up shelling out for a pair of Sigvaris Cotton thigh highs, which cost 3x as much but are less constricting at the top of the thigh, stay up reliably, and are surprisingly soft. I still prefer Allegro Surgical for panty-hose. And open toe is a must for summer heat.
These thigh highs are great for the money. I have a 36 inch inseam and the x fit high enough. When wearing on international flights have more energy and feel more refresed.
Love These, April 15, 2015 By Patricia Pitts (Salem, OR)
These stockings are very comfortable to wear. They are long enough and have room in the toe. The tension is just right for what my therapist ordered. She too was impressed with these stockings for quality and price.
Love Allegro Surgical Thigh High 30-40mg, January 22, 2015 By Sue Williams (Highland Park, MI, MI)
These nylons are wonderful; they last a long time, are of excellent quality, maintain their support washing after washing. I have purchased no other brand since first ordering Allegro ten years ago.
fit great, January 13, 2015 By Anonymous (Ely, NV)
These feel sturdy and fit great.
Great Fit, December 23, 2014 By Anonymous (MD)
I love how comfortable these thigh highs fit. They are pretty easy to put on and wear like iron. I have had DVT and the support is fantastic. Keeps my leg from swelling.
Allegro is the best, November 26, 2014 By Anonymous (Philadelphia, PA)
I have been using these stockings for a few years now and have found them to be more than adequate. The price is fair and the service is prompt.
Prompt Service, November 15, 2014 By Anonymous (Rio Rancho, NM)
Usually order Jobst, which I love. These were tight fitting and the upper band was kinda flimsy. They are okay for a few hours of wear.
Scratchy feel, November 7, 2014 By Anonymous (Medina, MN)
These felt rough to the touch. The band was too tight. I had procedure done and could hardly wear these and had to order another pair. Spend more money at the start to order a better quality.
Allegro Surgical Thigh High Stockings, October 31, 2014 By NANCY NEIDER (Boise, ID)
I had vein lasered and these stockings are soothing after surgery. They make my legs feel so much better. Also, Brightlife went the extra step to exchange one pair for me when I ordered the wrong size, even though it was after the 30 day exchange timeframe. I would order from Brightlife again.
