Short length Allegro Surgical Weight Compression Pantyhose are sized to fit individuals from 4'9" to 5'9" and up to 210 pounds. They have a comfort waistband, reciprocated and reinforced heel, and a balloon toe for wiggle room. The Allegro brand provides the same quality comfort and support as the famous brands that cost two to three times more.
This stocking provides 20-30mmHg of gradient compression and helps improve blood flow, prevent edema (swelling), and reduce the discomfort caused by mild to moderate varicose veins. Made from 80% nylon and 20% spandex in the USA.

A Positive Life Supplement, March 5, 2017 By Anonymous (Seattle, WA)(Verified)
These compression stockings have truly changed my life! Instead of hurting after only a few hours of work as a tradesman. I can go through my whole day without too much pain and fatigue. I can feel the inflammation being brought under control as the stockings squeeze out of me, the deoxygenated blood from my lower extremities and returns it to my upper body for rejuvenation. I recommend these to ANYONE who needs support for there legs! They seem to help to keep my entire vascular system in balance. I notice that if i dont wear these, my lower back along with other portions of my body ache more! These have totally been worth the investment. They have repayed me many times over in feeling better, and have kept my days filled with energy instead of fatigue. Thank You BLD!
Happy Camper, March 17, 2016 By Jennifer (Clinton, WA)
At long last I have found comfortable support hose, which actually fit my 4'10" frame. My job requires standing for many hours a day, and now my legs with some serious varicose veins, no longer ache. I am very pleased with my purchase.
Very durable and good price, March 9, 2016 By Anonymous (Oak Creek, WI)
I have owned all different brands of support hose. By far these are the most durable and the cheapest. I have jobst brand and they are one of the most expensive pairs out there. I paid $110 for one pair and they got a run in them within the first week of wearing them. Overall they are good. The only thing I would change would be the torso portion. I ordered the short which fit pretty well in the legs but the torso was still extra long in my opinion. I literally have them pulled up to my bra. On the bright side of that it's like a built in spanx with my support hose. I work in wound care and we routinely have patients that need to order support hose. I quickly give them this website and also show them that I am wearing them. I will stick to this brand except for the few pairs my insurance is willing to pay a portion of for the year because they only cover jobst brand.
Pretty good, February 2, 2016 By Anonymous (Burbank, CA)
Fits well and with good compression. Takes me about 10 minutes to wear properly, but the benefits of wearing this outweighs the hassle of putting it on.
I only wish the 30-40 mmhg version were also available in short length. I'll be trying the 30-40 mmhg soon in regular length.
Wahoo panty hose that fit, November 26, 2015 By Anonymous (Kingwood, TX)

FINALLY, November 1, 2014 By Anonymous (puyallup, WA)
Size accuracy: Good Aesthetics: Poor Durability: Good Value for price: Excellent Functionality: Good
Happy Allegro finally has short length. Other brands are far too expensive. Not the most attractive texture but they work and they fit. The ones that look more attractive (like sheer Sigvaris) run so easily that it is not worthwhile... having $100+ panyhose run before the 3rd time I wear them (yes I care for them properly and use gloves to put them on etc)
The short length. fir just right, product. Came two days later, the staff was very helpful.
Didn't work for me, July 18, 2014 By Anonymous (Wilmington, NC)
I am just 5 ft tall and 145 lbs, and thus the size I ordered should have worked for me, but they were way too tight and actually hurt so I returned them. The material was coarser than I expected but would have been fine under jeans.
Comfort on my feet, March 20, 2014 By Anonymous (Phoenixville, PA)
I am a nurse on my feet for 12 hours at a time. I LOVE these stockings! They make a huge difference in how my legs feel at the end of my shift. And you can't beat the price!
excellent, January 31, 2014 By Anonymous (Elko, NV)
These are comfortable and help me get thru the day on my feet. I don't feel exhausted when I go home and my veins don't throb at night. Love em.
Finally the Right Size, January 6, 2014 By Nancy (Chico, CA)
The Short Length works great for me. I am always between sizes when I buy pantyhose. I tried Queen regular size first, they are too long, and the panty is too big, so they slide down and my plump thighs bulge over the top of the stocking. Short xtall work great. The panty is not uncomfortable, and there is a smoother transition in the thigh area. Plus Allegro is an excellent, less expensive, quality product.
surgical pantyhose 20-30 short length queen, December 31, 2013 By Eileen Kane-Gemmell (Kings Park, NY)
The fit is much better than the queen...will you be making these in sheer instead of surgical weave? NOTE FROM BRIGHTLIFE DIRECT: Look for short length in sheer pantyhose in 2014.
Shorter Length is Great!, December 4, 2013 By Nancy (Chico, CA)
I really like the Allegro brand. Why pay more when you can get a quality product, looks nice, washes easily, and very durable so far. And the best part, I got them so fast. The only problem I'm having is with the fit. I am always between sizes regular tall and queen. I got the regular queen first, and there is ample stretch, maybe just a little too much for me, and they were too long. The shorter size is better, but still not there yet. That is why I will try the regular tall, short length next time. With BrightLife's great return policy I will send them back this time if there is a size problem. I couldn't on the last order because I needed them every day for two months with the procedures I was getting. I think it is best to talk about sizes with their great customer service team, no matter which brand you buy, they know the sizing differences. The 2 pairs I've gotten have been really close to size, but still need a little more adjustment. With all the pulling and tugging you have to do to get any support hose on, I have not had a tear yet. Thanks BrightLife for so many to choose from, especially for those on a tight budget.
