Good Purchase, October 20, 2016 By Anonymous (Kenduskeag, ME)(Verified)
Since losing health care coverage, I have been forced to find cheaper alternatives to the compression hose that I am used to. The price was right for these ones. I opted for the free shipping, it said 5-9 days, it took only 4. The stockings are a tad long but I can give a little wiggle room in the toes so they fit well. After 2 weeks they still provide the support I need. I will be ordering a second pair.
Allegro Surgical Knee High 30-40mmhg, October 14, 2016 By Anonymous
Allegro surgical knee high, October 1, 2016 By Anonymous (eugene, OR)
On the plus side, these stocking are much less spendy than the ones recommended at the vendor to whom the surgeon sent me. However, I've been wearing only a few months and one sock has a hole in the heel and at the knee (where I pull them up). Also, I'm not in love with the way the less fitted toe portion meets up with the compression portion. Catches the space between toe 4 and 5 in a slightly pinched way that is a bit difficult to adjust. Makes me wonder if it's another case of "You get what you pay for." I do appreciate the diagram and tips re how to don them, by the way.
love them, September 7, 2016 By Susan (Upper Marlboro, MD)
I have quite a few pairs of Allegro 30-40 mmHg knee highs and they are the perfect length for me and fit great. I also have the approval of my therapist that these are great for my Lymphedema.

I have been waiting for my custom made compression garments for weeks now and research brightlife direct and saw they are local for me and tried their brand and I must say they are perfect! Even my therapist agrees the fit is near perfect for me and told me to go ahead and purchase more, so thanks so much!! Keep up the excellent work!!
Love em, August 28, 2016 By Susan (Upper Marlboro, MD)
These are the only over the counter compression socks that actually works well for me!! I've tried all the brand name ones and they were either too long or didn't fit well. So love these!
Great fit!, August 22, 2016 By Susan (Upper Marlboro, MD)
I'm new to compression garments and this pair for very well and did what it was supposed to do, so great!
Don't Fear Getting the Support You Need, July 28, 2016 By Marc (West Hartford, CT)
I've been a happy user of Allegro Surgical Knee-High Open-Toe stockings in 20-30mm weight for more than a few years. I started finding that I'd get some edema over my shins at the end of the day. I was afraid to go with the higher compression worried that they'd be heavier and less comfortable. Boy I was wrong!
The 301's are actually 18% lighter in weight. They have a 1/2" higher top band so they stay up better. What's more, I'm sleeping better not having to eliminate that extra fluid at night.
had to return, July 16, 2016 By Anonymous (TX)
had to return toes were to long and at the top they would roll downward past my knees
Love these socks!, July 7, 2016 By Anonymous (Hamilton, ON)
I've tried expensive brands such as Juzo and Mediven, but I keep coming back to Allegro. They have a solid fabric, tight weave, and the size is perfect. The beige colour is slightly pinkish and unnatural, but the effectiveness of these socks make them one of the best on the market. I'll definitely keep buying them! My only request is that Brightlife offer these socks in a 40-50 mmHg version.
Good product, great value., May 18, 2016 By Tim (Meriden, CT)
The Allegro stockings are great. They are tough and hold up very well. I am a landscape supervisor and wear shorts 10 months out of the year. I would rate them a 5/5 except the anti roll band is too narrow and the top edge does roll down.
Love the open toe Allegro stockings, March 29, 2016 By Anonymous (Ashland, OR)
I always chose closed-toe stockings because I feared my toes would be too cold, but lately I'm having trouble with too much bulk that makes my shoes tight probably due to the new orthotics I'm also wearing in my shoes. So glad I chose the open toe style this time. They fit perfectly. I have always been happy with Allegro which is much more affordable. Brightlife shipping is always prompt and I also take advantage of special low prices they offer during their annual sale.
Great Feel, Great Price, February 20, 2016 By Anonymous (Nanaimo Canada)

Excellent product, fits just as good, if not better than the way-more expensive Jobst brand.
Compression hose, February 12, 2016 By Anonymous (Cheboygan, MI)
These stockings are great & the most versatile.
They Certainly do their job!!, February 11, 2016 By Kathy Heitzmann (Sheboygan, WI)
My legs feel great all day long wearing these socking. Not tired and swollen after a day of activities.
Good budget stocking, February 11, 2016 By Anonymous (Winterport, ME)
These are good stockings with great compression, unfortunately they just didn't work for me. My legs and feet swell a lot during the day and the fabric isn't as thick as some of the higher priced stockings so they would cut in at the ankles. I had ordered on the buy 3 get one free promotion which is a great deal if you can wear them. Brightlife customer service was wonderful in letting me send back all 4 pair even though I had tried on two pair of them. I unfortunately seem to have to wear the more expensive brands. I know someone who wears these every day and has no problems but they wear them for a different reason. I have lymphedema so have more swelling.
It took a while before I found the Allegro stockings, but I'm glad I did. They are more durable and comfortable than the competition. The price is better, especially with BrightLife's semi-annual sale. Brightlife's service is great, getting the stockings to me quickly, even when a slower shipping option is picked.
