The hosiery and fabric mills located in the foothills of the Italian Alps are world renown for luxury and quality. Our Italian Cotton Socks are crafted at a prestigious family-run mill known for its meticulous attention to detail and use of only the finest fibers. The medical grade compression is caressing rather than squeezing and the long staple cotton ensures a soft and smooth hand with durability. The hosiery mill is relatively small and BrightLife Direct has been chosen as the exclusive dealer in the United States.
This Italian Cotton Support Sock provides 20-30 mmHg of gradient compression to help improve blood flow, prevent minor ankle, leg, and foot swelling, and reduce the discomfort caused by minor varicose or spider veins. I love these and my legs are happy too!
Love the cotton., September 8, 2016 By Sharon Aikins (Lawrence, KS)
I have been wearing the sheer Allegro knee highs and love them. The cotton ones have a little less compression but seem to do the job as I don't have severe swelling. These make me feel more confident while walking around my apartment, not as slippery, and are comfortable. Got another pair in black and one in the beige, a nicer color than I had expected.
cotton support, August 23, 2016 By Anonymous (Kensington, CA)
These are v.sturdy socks, cotton and therefore comfortable. A bit hard to put on and off for me but good support if you have a day of standing and walking about.
Not quite my size, August 3, 2016 By Anonymous (Chula Vista, CA)
Lighter, more comfortable stocking initially, but my right leg swells worse than my left, so by the end of the day the top band has rolled down and become a tourniquet.
Allegro Italian Cotten Knee Highs are perfect for summer!, June 24, 2016 By Anonymous (Weaverville, NC)
This is the first summer I've worn compression socks, so I decided to try lighter weight socks by Allegro, since I was so pleased with their heavier socks. This Italian Cotton socks are beautiful (I bought the navy ones) and light weight and not too difficult to put on. I wanted Knee Highs, but when I tried on the Small, they did not come up high enough. I asked BrightLife for advice and they recommended going up one size. They were right the next larger size fits perfectly and does not slide down during the day.
Great product, June 16, 2016 By Beth (Clinton, IA)

Allegro Premium - Italian Cotton Knee Highs 20-25mmHg#113, January 23, 2016 By Anonymous (Las Vegas, NV)
I absolutely love these knee highs. The compression is just perfect, particularly around the ankles and the wide band at the top allows for maximum comfort. They do not bind and I have tried many knee highs but they are all too tight in the binding. These are perfect. I would recommend them and will be ordering more. They are also a nice weight and can be worn for most occasions. They also have retained their shape and compression through many washings.

good for the price, wish it were 1" shorter, delivery was fast as it always is
Very good product, November 7, 2015 By Anonymous (Cameron Park, CA)
Very comfortable. I like the extra toe space. I got the tall because I was right between the two sizes. I think I could have gotten by with the regular length, as these could go half way up my knees. I like the fact that they don't slide down at all.
best socks ever, October 7, 2015 By Anonymous (alexandria, VA)
purchased two pairs - they are so comfortable and soft. almost forget they are compression socks. can't wait for another sale.
These are the BEST for working 12 hour shifts on your feet!, October 3, 2015 By nebraskawhit (Lincoln, NE)
I love these socks. I wear them everyday that I work. I work 12 hour shifts in a hospital and I am on my feet all night. Before I was wearing these socks, I used to get leg cramps all the time. As soon as I started wearing these, the leg cramps are GONE! Just make sure to follow the washing directions, wash in cold and hang to dry. These socks will last me 2+ years until they finally get holes. Well worth the money!

Better at controlling swelling in feet.
Great for work, July 31, 2015 By Anonymous (Milwaukee, WI)
Liked the ribbed design. Light and comfortable under dress slacks and fit perfectly into work shoes without needing to "wedge" foot in.

Allegro samba cotton sock, June 11, 2015 By Anonymous (Sunderland, MD)
this is a great project I am allergic to many synthetic fibers and so happy to find a cotton blend in the compression I need 20-25mmHg. I now have 5 pairs in several shades. they also wear and wash well
Good socks, June 4, 2015 By Anonymous (WELWYN GARDEN CITY)
These are good support socks, but maybe just a bit too short to get 5 stars. Midway between a normal sock and stockings, they're great under jeans or for work in the winter.
Allegro Samba Italian Cotton 20-25mm, June 3, 2015 By Robin Dretler (Decatur, GA)
Excellent fit, comfortable, stay up all day and look just like regular stockings. They are perfect for my needs at a reasonable price.
LOVE these socks, May 27, 2015 By Anonymous (Mannford, OK)
I love these socks. They are cotton which I love and they fit great. I have a larger foot size 9.5 in women's and they fit great with plenty of room in the foot. The price is great too.
Excellent Product, May 15, 2015 By Anonymous (Kerrville, TX)
Totally satisfied. Recommended by my heart doctor who also wears them.
Great basic sock, April 28, 2015 By Barbara Emodi (Halifax Nova Scotia)
This is an excellent sock for men or women looking for good compression in a sock that doesn't look like support socks. Reminds me of the knee socks I wore as a kid. The cotton makes these socks far more comfortable than many synthetic versions and the top is non binding. Just be careful to wash only with other darks, these pick up any lint.
Ribbed or Not Ribbed., March 7, 2015 By Anonymous (Delray Beach, FL)
I keep looking for socks that are NOT ribbed. The description does not say ribbed stockings. I want microfiber non-ribbed. I only received that one time! The description makes NO mention that they are ribbed and I hate them. The ribbed ones make my legs itch like MAD!
Samba Italian Cotton Sock, February 20, 2015 By Anonymous (quebec, Canada)
Very comfortable, however a bit short...
Allegro Samba Italian Cotton Socks, February 3, 2015 By Anonymous (Aurora, IL)
Very comfortable socks with just the right amount of compression; easy to wash, keep their shape and color; I had to go with the larger foot size in order to have the sock longer since I am tall (6 foot). Overall great stockings
Cotton is king!, January 31, 2015 By Anonymous (Scottsdale, AZ)
Living in the desert, it is great to have compression with cotton.
toes too big, January 29, 2015 By Anonymous
Had bought these in the past but they seem to have modified them and now the toes are way too big. For some people this might be great but didn't work for me and have to return them.
