The hosiery and fabric mills located in the foothills of the Italian Alps are world renown for luxury and quality. Our Italian Cotton Socks are crafted at a prestigious family-run mill known for its meticulous attention to detail and use of only the finest fibers. The medical grade compression is caressing rather than squeezing and the long staple cotton ensures a soft and smooth hand with durability. This sock is available in three compression levels, the Swing, Samba and Paso Doble in order of strength. The hosiery mill is relatively small and BrightLife Direct has been chosen as the exclusive dealer in the United States.
The Samba sock provides 20-25 mmHg of gradient compression to help improve blood flow, prevent minor ankle, leg, and foot swelling, and reduce the discomfort caused by minor varicose or spider veins. Ideal for wearing on long flights or automobile trips and for people who spend time on their feet.
Made from 67% cotton, 27% nylon, and 6% spandex in Italy.
Super soft ribbed “no shrink” Italian cotton
Reinforced heel and toe for durability
Non-binding 1.25” top band keeps socks in place all day
Machine wash in warm water on gentle cycle using a mild detergent. To preserve compression lifespan, we recommend you hang dry your socks. Do not use bleach, Woolite or fabric softeners. Do not iron. Do not tumble dry. Do not dry clean or iron.

Better at controlling swelling in feet.
Great for work, July 30, 2015 By Anonymous (Milwaukee, WI)
Liked the ribbed design. Light and comfortable under dress slacks and fit perfectly into work shoes without needing to "wedge" foot in.
Allegro Samba Italian Cotton Sock 20-25mmHg - Item# 113, July 14, 2015 By Anonymous (CA)

Allegro samba cotton sock, June 11, 2015 By Anonymous (Sunderland, MD)
this is a great project I am allergic to many synthetic fibers and so happy to find a cotton blend in the compression I need 20-25mmHg. I now have 5 pairs in several shades. they also wear and wash well
Good socks, June 4, 2015 By Anonymous (WELWYN GARDEN CITY)
These are good support socks, but maybe just a bit too short to get 5 stars. Midway between a normal sock and stockings, they're great under jeans or for work in the winter.
Allegro Samba Italian Cotton 20-25mm, June 3, 2015 By Robin Dretler (Decatur, GA)
Excellent fit, comfortable, stay up all day and look just like regular stockings. They are perfect for my needs at a reasonable price.
LOVE these socks, May 27, 2015 By Anonymous (Mannford, OK)
I love these socks. They are cotton which I love and they fit great. I have a larger foot size 9.5 in women's and they fit great with plenty of room in the foot. The price is great too.
Excellent Product, May 15, 2015 By Anonymous (Kerrville, TX)
Totally satisfied. Recommended by my heart doctor who also wears them.
Great basic sock, April 28, 2015 By Barbara Emodi (Halifax Nova Scotia)
This is an excellent sock for men or women looking for good compression in a sock that doesn't look like support socks. Reminds me of the knee socks I wore as a kid. The cotton makes these socks far more comfortable than many synthetic versions and the top is non binding. Just be careful to wash only with other darks, these pick up any lint.
Ribbed or Not Ribbed., March 6, 2015 By Anonymous (Delray Beach, FL)
I keep looking for socks that are NOT ribbed. The description does not say ribbed stockings. I want microfiber non-ribbed. I only received that one time! The description makes NO mention that they are ribbed and I hate them. The ribbed ones make my legs itch like MAD!
Samba Italian Cotton Sock, February 20, 2015 By Anonymous (quebec, Canada)
Very comfortable, however a bit short...
Allegro Samba Italian Cotton Socks, February 3, 2015 By Anonymous (Aurora, IL)
Very comfortable socks with just the right amount of compression; easy to wash, keep their shape and color; I had to go with the larger foot size in order to have the sock longer since I am tall (6 foot). Overall great stockings
Cotton is king!, January 31, 2015 By Anonymous (Scottsdale, AZ)
Living in the desert, it is great to have compression with cotton.
toes too big, January 29, 2015 By Anonymous
Had bought these in the past but they seem to have modified them and now the toes are way too big. For some people this might be great but didn't work for me and have to return them.
5 stars, September 3, 2014 By Anonymous (Harwinton, CT)
great support and so very soft and cozy, but not too warm. Can wear all day without my toes feeling crushed. Highly recommend these support socks!!
Allegro samba cotton socks, June 13, 2014 By Lgrn715 (Parma, OH)
This is the first time I've tried any compression socks and I was a bit reluctant but I love them!!! I am a RN in a very busy Cath Lab, and there are days were I'm on my feet for my 10 h shift with a lead apron on, taking a toll on my legs and feet. These socks are very easy to get on, are super soft, and really help allieviate the pain I was having. I would recommend these and would love another pair !!
Very nice sock but watch the compression, May 7, 2014 By maurice (healdsburg, CA)
This is a very nice sock:soft on the skin, comfortable in the toe and wears well judging from previous orders. I made the mistake of ordering too high a compression which makes getting them a wrestling job.
fit, April 23, 2014 By Anonymous (Lakewood, CO)
the only issues I am having is the 'bunching' at the top of the ankle. if only they could be made with a little ankle give?
Socks, April 19, 2014 By Anonymous (Coupeville, WA)
These socks app to be smaller over the ankle then the ones before
So far, so good., April 15, 2014 By Paul (Easthampton, MA)
I have this item for a very short time(<3 months), I had initial problems getting them on, but have gotten the hang of it. Comfortable, and washing well, so far. I will purchase more in the future.
compression socks, March 22, 2014 By Anonymous (San Jose, CA)
the socks were shipped quickly and fit well. I've washed them several times already and they seem to be holding up okay.
Caution: Size Chart May Not Be Accurate, March 17, 2014 By Brian Bacchi (Carrboro, NC)
I ordered a size 5 sock because I wear a size 13 (US) shoe. I needed this sock due to blood clots I had in my calf. This sized sock on my calf had very little compression, so I have to return them and get a smaller pair.
Allegro Samba Cotton Sock, February 27, 2014 By Anonymous (Denver, CO)
These socks have helped greatly. Keeps the swelling down.
Lucky find!!, February 14, 2014 By Peter Panayoti (Clifton, NJ)
I am a diabetic and recently my legs and ankles had become so swollen I had trouble putting on my shoes. I have a drawer full of "diabetic" socks that did not work. I saw an ad for Allegro socks and ordered one pair to try. I have since ordered 4 more pairs of Samba socks. The swelling in my toes, ankles and legs are down to normal wearing the socks. The aches and sensitivity from the swelling is greatly reduced. I am delighted....
