The hosiery and fabric mills located in the foothills of the Italian Alps are world renown for luxury and quality. Our Italian Cotton Socks are crafted at a prestigious family-run mill known for its meticulous attention to detail and use of only the finest fibers. The medical grade compression is caressing rather than squeezing and the long staple cotton ensures a soft and smooth hand with durability. This sock is available in three compression levels, the Swing, Samba and Paso Doble in order of strength. The hosiery mill is relatively small and BrightLife Direct has been chosen as the exclusive dealer in the United States.
The Paso Doble sock provides 25-30mmHg of gradient compression to help improve blood flow, prevent minor ankle, leg, and foot swelling, and reduce the discomfort caused by minor varicose or spider veins. Ideal for wearing on long flights or automobile trips and for people who spend time on their feet.
Made from 67% cotton, 27% nylon, and 6% spandex in Italy.
Super soft ribbed “no shrink” Italian cotton
Reinforced heel and toe for durability
Non-binding 1.25” top band keeps socks in place all day
Hand wash in cool water with a mild detergent. Blot with a towel to remove excess water and hang to dry. Do not use bleach Woolite or fabric softeners. Do not iron. Do not tumble dry.

Italian goods!!!, October 2, 2015 By Anonymous (Lake Havasu City, AZ)
So far these socks are great and refreshingly well-made for 2015. There is a lot of care going into this product. I accidently washed them with bleach so a small hole has developed, but that was as much my fault as anyone's.

Must not have thick ankles, November 18, 2014 By Diane (Livingston, NJ)
I am a nurse and rely on these stockings as a must to get through my day. However, they are snug around the ankle and due to the wonderful, soft cotton blend, tend to be less forgiving around the ankle area.
First & Last, July 22, 2014 By Ruth Harms (WA)
I have purchased Allegro Samba compression socks for several years, and have always been pleased with them. However, the last time I ordered, the Samba was out of stock, so I decided to try the new, higher compression Paso Doble. This was my first, and last time to buy these socks. I found them extremely difficult to get on and off. They do offer very good compression, once you have them on, but not enough to make up for the difficulty in getting them on and off. Perhaps for a younger, stronger person, with legs slimmer than mine, but not for me. I'll be sticking to the Sambas.
allegro paso doble hose, May 22, 2014 By Anonymous (bedford, IN)
was looking for cotton replacements for sigvaris 362c hose. order largest size, however they were impossible to get on. the sigvaris were flexible and were really easy to get on. so i ordered another pair of sigvaris. better to have a $70 pair that are usable than to have a $25 pair that arent usable. i dont like sigvaris price, but they are great hose.

Small for size large, December 26, 2013 By Al Easton (Lemon Grove, CA)
I wear size 11.5 so the sock size ordered was large. Putting the socks on was a huge chore. They were very tight and hurt my feet. I gave them away to a person with smaller feet.

These stockings gradually worked their way down resulting in a compression ring around the lower part of my leg.Conversely Item 102 that I purchased at the same time retain their position and are very comfortable.

If you have skinny calves these are for you!!I have tried many styles from many brands including pricey Juzo and these really fit perfectly. I have very skinny calves and used to have to pull my stockings back up every few hours. These stay in place for 16 hours. They are absolutely comfortable in every way. No pinching of toes folding over at top for tourniquet effect. Perfect!!!

It's been what a few weeks since I wrote my first review and gave it 5 stars. I have to say I am very dissapointed now. Both heels have holes in them the size of a plum. And I haven't even worn these socks every day! I am shocked to be honest as to how qucikly they developed. May be you do get what you pay for :-( They are still great at the top but the quality is poor it turns out. I'll try the expensive brand now.

I love these socks.…, September 20, 2011 By Anonymous (Anchorage, AK)
I love these socks. They are firm enough to do the job but not super tight that my legs don't go crazy at the end of the day. I am happy I went with this brand that costs three times less than others and provides great quality.
