Allegro Super Support Socks provide soft comfortable class II compression, in a dress sock that doesn't cost a fortune. It has a non-binding top so the socks stay up on their own, and they feature a “comfort” heel and balloon toe. Great for guys with big feet. The Allegro brand provides quality comfort and support identical to the famous brands that cost two to three times more.
This stocking provides 30-40mmHg of gradient compression and should be worn under a doctor’s supervision. This level helps relieve severe varicose veins, severe edema (swelling), and chronic venous insufficiency. It helps during healing after surgical and sclerotherapy procedures, and helps prevent venous ulcerations. Woven from 85% nylon and 15% spandex in the USA.

The last time I bought these, the heel did not last long. I hope it is better this time. Otherwise, they are very good.
Decent quality, poor fit, October 4, 2016 By ROBERT (DURHAM, NC)(Verified)
I tried these socks as they are less expensive than the Therafirms I have been buying. These socks are too long and therefore, getting them to fit properly is a losing proposition. Because of the poor fit, compression is not spread out correctly and I had bands of compression on my leg and not complete compression. If you are tall, these will probably fo a great choice for you but if you are short, buy the Therefirms.
Good quality for the price, September 27, 2016 By Anonymous (Ft worth, TX)(Verified)
These socks seem to be of good quality for the price. They do seem to run a little long. I wear a size 14 eeee shoe and ordered xl. I might be better off with a large?

Allegro Compression Stockings, August 16, 2015 By Anonymous (Naalehu, HI)
Not the "Surgical" ones - they were way too tight, hard to get on and hurt all day. Sized according to shoe size rather than actual measurements, so less precise. Feet & bottom to top are too long, but compression seems adequate (30-40 mm/hg). Comfortable finish, seem to be well made, and you can't beat the price.
Great Product, July 27, 2015 By Nicholas (Johns Creek, GA)
Fits tightly, but smoothly and provides high gradient compression without kinks or bumps.

These socks do the job for a very reasonable price.
4 stars for value, 2 stars for sizing options., November 18, 2014 By Roy Krantz (Boston, MA)
The Allegro line of stockings is definitely a better value than most. They do provide the same compression as others, however, they only have two bands of Spandex while the more expensive brands generally have three. This makes the Allegro more difficult to put on and take off, even if arthritis hasn't reached your hands and thumbs.
Also, like the other brands, sizing is a real problem. The manufacturers assume if you have a big foot you must be tall.... There are not enough length variations by each brand to get a better fit... and it is NOT advisable to fold over the top band.
That said, like any of the brands, if you can get them on & off and they aren't too long, the Allegro are a great value.
I recommend you try a pair and hope they work for you.
men's stocks for a women, September 29, 2014 By Anonymous (Wilmington, DE)
Having a wide toe box, inherited from my German ancestors, I find the men's version of compression socks in this brand a perfect fit. They offer all the support I need with exceptional comfort.

For women too!!!, February 14, 2014 By Anonymous (Austin, TX)
I love these allegro men's stockings for daily wear because they supply the compression I need without too much pressure on my toes. My foot is a classic German one, broad toes with narrow heel, so to avoid pain, I buy the men's version. So, if you're seeking a good level of compression in a pleasant navy knee sock, try these!
