This was a try out that ended up being a good surprise. Very good quality for the price and fast delivery.
My favorite, December 31, 2016 By Anonymous (Palestine, TX)(Verified)
These are my favorites. They are a little heavy, but go on easier than others, not too long, and just feel good.
Allegro compression socks, December 27, 2016 By Anonymous (South River, NJ)(Verified)
I was disappointed with these socks, but should have known better when I saw they were unisex. I followed the size chart, but the actual foot portion of the sock is way too long, and becomes uncomfortable in shoes, as it folds up. I bought a pair for my sister as well, and she finds them uncomfortable, too.
Sock, December 10, 2016 By Anonymous (Youngstown, OH)(Verified)
Sock is quality made. Would recommend.
Great Value, December 3, 2016 By Anonymous (Alexandria, VA)(Verified)
This is the second time I am ordering many pairs of these socks. I am a female and ordered size small according to shoe and ankle size and they are a perfect fit. The cotton makes a big difference in feel and yes they are warm-perfect for fall and winter. If you follow the washing instructions (wash on gentle and I use the hosiery wash from brightlife) they will last a long time.
Still Great, November 29, 2016 By HC Miller (Bellevue, WA)
I have used these socks for many years and continue to be pleased. They give good support and are reasonably easy to put on and take off.
Big Mistake, November 22, 2016 By Frank (Albuquerque, NM)(Verified)
I bought 4 pr. of these. I found them to be too heavy and sent back 3 pr. The other day, I put on these heavy socks and found they are wonderful for this cooler weather. I guess I'll order more of them now.
long haul driver's relief, November 9, 2016 By Anonymous (greenwood)(Verified)
Great for truck drivers, reduced the pain/swelling in my lower legs and feet from extended periods of sitting.
Allegro Essential, November 5, 2016 By Anonymous (Athens, GA)(Verified)
Comfortable 20-30mmHg compression, but not as strong as the same compression brand my vein doctor sells.
Less expensive solution, October 22, 2016 By Anonymous (Quincy, IL)
During open heart surgery veins were taken from my leg resulting in a prescription for compression socks. My first pair came from a medical supply store, were durable, and expensive. The cotton ones from Allegro half as expensive, fit well, and were comfortable. However they are unraveling at the top and developing a hole under the heel. This was dissspointing but not unexpected based on the price.
Unisex Cotton by Allegro, October 21, 2016 By Denise E Lee (Metter, GA)(Verified)
Could not use the ones I received because they were "Men's" and too big in the foot and too long in the length. :-(
Best Value in Compression Socks, September 1, 2016 By Pete (West St. Paul, MN)
These are my favorite compression socks. They are more breathable than fully synthetic ones and they are loose on the toes to keep them comfy. They are also the best value around, and made in USA!
socks help reduce dizziness, August 13, 2016 By Barbara Ayer (Palo Alto, CA)
This is the first time my husband has tried using compression socks to help raise his blood pressure and prevent dizzy spells. He has worn the socks for one week and he has experienced fewer and milder dizzy spells, so we are very pleased.
toe box too big but like the idea of cotton, August 7, 2016 By Anonymous (Ashland, OR)
I have been buying the unisex or men's styles because they are cheaper and come in the colors I want. So many of your women's styles are "Sheer." but I hate the look and feel of Sheer. The toe boxes are huge and make all my shoes too small and my toes hurt. So I am cutting off the excess and sewing them closed again on my sewing machine. I expect this will severely shorten the life of these socks, but I am leaving for a trip and can't wait for you to ship replacements. Your stockings are far too expensive for me to purchase regularly, but happily I hope to retire soon and will not be working long days on my feet much longer.

God, but somewhat too long.
Cotton means comfort, July 30, 2016 By Nancy Tella (Medfield, MA)
Fantastic product. Great value. Superb comfort. This high cotton compression sock is more comfortable than any other compression sock you've ever worn.
Excellent Continuity, July 22, 2016 By HCM (bellevue, WA)
I have used these support socks for many years and always been fully satisfied. The cotton component makes them noticeably easier to use.
Allegro essential Cotton, July 5, 2016 By Anonymous (Laval)
Love these socks, the cotton fabric is very comfortable. I was looking for cotton especially in summer, it keeps you fresh and doesn't let you sweet. will definitely reorder.
Foot runs big, May 1, 2016 By Anonymous (Burdett, NY)
Great material and overall quality! Good price. These are much better than the comparable sock offered by Ames Walker. Tan color is good. My only complaint is that the balloon toe in the foot is too long. I wear a size 8.5 to 9 women's shoe and ordered the medium like the size chart indicated, but the foot was too long. The rest of the sock fits well. I'm afraid that if I order the small that the leg portion of the sock will be too short, as I have a wider calf.

Good fit in the toe area.
Allegro socks, March 31, 2016 By Anonymous (San Jose, CA)
The web site is a bit difficult to navigate so I called and was fortunate enough to talk to a lady named Rose. She mentioned Therafirm and Allegro and suggested ordering one pair of each. After trying them both I opted for the Allegro because they were easier to put on. I sent the Therafirm back and received a credit on my credit card. I wound up ordering more of the Allegro.
New socks, March 22, 2016 By Anonymous (San Jose, CA)
After seeing my doctor I found out I needed socks with a higher compression. I was a bit confused by all the options on the website so I called and talked to Rose at Brightlife. She suggested that I order one each of Allegro and Therafirm. Long story short the Allegro were much easier to put on so I returned the Therafirm. Subsequently I ordered 5 more pairs of the Allegro socks.
Difficult to put on., March 13, 2016 By Anonymous (LONG BEACH, CA)
I bought these for my husband who pronounced them too difficult to put on. Loudly and often.
Ordering more, March 11, 2016 By Susanne Oakley (Auburn, CA)
First time for husband wearing compression socks and he was able to put these on and wear them and was very pleased with them. Since doctor ordered them was fearful if he couldn't get them on or he didn't like he wouldn't end up wearing them, but I have trouble getting him to take them off to laundry so ordering more. They are comfortable and soft and so also ordered a pair for me too.
Not comfortable, February 11, 2016 By Anonymous (Puyallup, WA)
Didn't care for these at all. Expected them to be softer, as they are a cotton blend. They feel like pure nylon. Returning.
