support hose, March 2, 2017 By Anonymous (Kaliispell, MT)
The Allegro Essential cotton support socks are very good. I do not wear them every day as my skin gets irritated, but that is normal for me. A good product and I really like the 'toe box' not compressing my toes. Very good product.

Have ordered these before working with someone at Brightlife. This order was simply to get several more of the same. The order was delivered promptly - no fuss, no muss.
Good, February 26, 2017 By Anonymous (Oak Park, IL)(Verified)
I purchased a medium and it was not a good fit. The staff at Bright Life were very helpful and sent me a small to try. The small was a better fit and they are nice socks, however I am use to a tighter compression then what I had experienced from these socks. The staff was so helpful in guiding me on a product that might work better for me. Appreciate the great customer service.

this was mybfirst time trying Allegro cotton compression socks. I have always use Jobst but hated the fact that based on my calf requirements that I would have cold feet in the winter time since I was stuck in Nylon/Spandex socks. In January, I had the chance to try the Allegro Cotton Compression socks. In a single word, they are FANTASTIC. So comfortable, available in an assortment of colors, soft and durable. The meet my compression requirements and are still stylish for outdoor wear. I cannot wait for spring/summer!!! Thank You BrightLife for offering such wonderful products at a great price!!!
Finally, a great fit, February 19, 2017 By Anonymous (Tempe, AZ)
Both my husband and I use this product. A generous toe box means no pain from side-ways compression, making walking comfortable and safe. They wash up well, last a long time, and the natural fiber is great for even summer heat. The price is right and the service is friendly.
cotton compression sock - #111, February 17, 2017 By tom cunningham(Verified)
i'm happy i purchased these socks... my legs feel noticeably better and there is much less swelling (and, i assume much less inflammation) by the end of the day... especially on days when i need to be up and on my feet a lot. i'm also glad they are mostly cotton as my skin seems to prefer natural fibers over synthetic.

Swelling gone!!!, February 13, 2017 By Robert Slings (Prairie City, IA)
I have used other styles and brands. Toe less and calf only compression. I have finally found the right compression and also the configuration that works for me. These Allegro's with balloon toe is the best so far. My first set has lasted very well and the compression is very comfortable for me varicose veins. They stay up and the roomy toe is the best I have tried. Very pleased.

111 full calf cotton compression knee high closed toe 20-30 mmHG, January 28, 2017 By Anonymous (Hermitage, PA)(Verified)
I got a similar sock from a different online retailer and mfgtr they were discontinued. I found these on BrightLife.com made by allegro. Just received first order and they seem exactly like what I had before. The former tended to eventually get holes in the toes. I will follow up on toes later

This was a try out that ended up being a good surprise. Very good quality for the price and fast delivery.
My favorite, December 31, 2016 By Anonymous (Palestine, TX)(Verified)
These are my favorites. They are a little heavy, but go on easier than others, not too long, and just feel good.
Allegro compression socks, December 27, 2016 By Anonymous (South River, NJ)(Verified)
I was disappointed with these socks, but should have known better when I saw they were unisex. I followed the size chart, but the actual foot portion of the sock is way too long, and becomes uncomfortable in shoes, as it folds up. I bought a pair for my sister as well, and she finds them uncomfortable, too.

Sock is quality made. Would recommend.
Great Value, December 3, 2016 By Anonymous (Alexandria, VA)(Verified)
This is the second time I am ordering many pairs of these socks. I am a female and ordered size small according to shoe and ankle size and they are a perfect fit. The cotton makes a big difference in feel and yes they are warm-perfect for fall and winter. If you follow the washing instructions (wash on gentle and I use the hosiery wash from brightlife) they will last a long time.
Still Great, November 29, 2016 By HC Miller (Bellevue, WA)
I have used these socks for many years and continue to be pleased. They give good support and are reasonably easy to put on and take off.
Big Mistake, November 22, 2016 By Frank (Albuquerque, NM)(Verified)
I bought 4 pr. of these. I found them to be too heavy and sent back 3 pr. The other day, I put on these heavy socks and found they are wonderful for this cooler weather. I guess I'll order more of them now.
long haul driver's relief, November 9, 2016 By Anonymous (greenwood)(Verified)
Great for truck drivers, reduced the pain/swelling in my lower legs and feet from extended periods of sitting.
Allegro Essential, November 5, 2016 By Anonymous (Athens, GA)(Verified)
Comfortable 20-30mmHg compression, but not as strong as the same compression brand my vein doctor sells.
Less expensive solution, October 22, 2016 By Anonymous (Quincy, IL)
During open heart surgery veins were taken from my leg resulting in a prescription for compression socks. My first pair came from a medical supply store, were durable, and expensive. The cotton ones from Allegro half as expensive, fit well, and were comfortable. However they are unraveling at the top and developing a hole under the heel. This was dissspointing but not unexpected based on the price.
Unisex Cotton by Allegro, October 21, 2016 By Denise E Lee (Metter, GA)(Verified)
Could not use the ones I received because they were "Men's" and too big in the foot and too long in the length. :-(
Best Value in Compression Socks, September 1, 2016 By Pete (West St. Paul, MN)
These are my favorite compression socks. They are more breathable than fully synthetic ones and they are loose on the toes to keep them comfy. They are also the best value around, and made in USA!
socks help reduce dizziness, August 13, 2016 By Barbara Ayer (Palo Alto, CA)
This is the first time my husband has tried using compression socks to help raise his blood pressure and prevent dizzy spells. He has worn the socks for one week and he has experienced fewer and milder dizzy spells, so we are very pleased.
toe box too big but like the idea of cotton, August 7, 2016 By Anonymous (Ashland, OR)
I have been buying the unisex or men's styles because they are cheaper and come in the colors I want. So many of your women's styles are "Sheer." but I hate the look and feel of Sheer. The toe boxes are huge and make all my shoes too small and my toes hurt. So I am cutting off the excess and sewing them closed again on my sewing machine. I expect this will severely shorten the life of these socks, but I am leaving for a trip and can't wait for you to ship replacements. Your stockings are far too expensive for me to purchase regularly, but happily I hope to retire soon and will not be working long days on my feet much longer.
