Introducing a compression sock that's even more comfortable than our Allegro Italian Cotton. Knit at the same mill near the foothills of the Italian Alps, the new Allegro Italian Wool Compression Sock is one of the most comfortable socks we have ever tried. Italian weavers are world renown for luxury and quality, and with this sock they do not disappoint.
Our Italian Wool Socks are crafted at a prestigious family-run mill, known for its meticulous attention to detail and use of only the finest fibers. By using long staple cotton and wool fibers, they create a fabric that is durable, yet soft and smooth against your skin. The medical grade compression of this stocking is comforting, rather than squeezing. An anatomical foot portion, flat toe seam, and elastic dot over the anklebone add to the comfort and style.
Allegro Italian Wool Compression Socks provide 15-20mmHg of gradient compression to help improve blood flow, prevent minor ankle, leg, and foot swelling, and reduce the discomfort caused by minor varicose or spider veins. Ideal for wearing on long flights or automobile trips and for people who spend time on their feet.
Made from 53% cotton, 40% wool, and 7% spandex in Italy
Anatomical right and left foot portion
Reinforced heel and toe for durability
Non-binding 1.75” top band keeps socks in place all day

Perfect for winter weather.
Really Nice Stockings, December 24, 2016 By Don (Tucson, AZ)
As others have said, these stockings are incredibly comfortable. I was worried about the substantial toe balloon, but I don's seem to have the problem of their bunching up under my toes, as I was expecting. Although I normally wear 20-30 mmHg stockings, I can't tell much difference in my lower legs with these. They dry incredibly quickly after washing.
THE VERY VERY BEST. EVER!, December 1, 2016 By RICHARD FELLERMAN (SAINT PAUL, MN)

Allegro Premium - Italian Wool Compression, August 10, 2016 By JimC (Huntington Beach, CA)
After wearing compression stockings for over 25 years, I finally found the most comfortable socks I've ever worn.
Great, just great, February 17, 2016 By Gavin Davis (Pasadena, CA)
I purchased these as a "work socks" and I find that I am wearing them any chance i get. The wool is soft and warm without being itchy. Most importantly they are machine washable!
I do think that the ankle dot can be off-putting to some that are thinking about buying them, but it is more subtle than you expect.
My legs thank me every day!, January 23, 2016 By Bruce (Washington, DC)
I used to wear compression socks only on long flights. They did help decrease swelling (and my chance of blood clots) but I did find them annoying after a number of hours. I now have a job where I'm on my feet all day and BrightLife recommended these socks. They truly are fantastic. I don't realize they are on and there is no itchy feeling when I take them off after a very long day. And the Italian Wool pairs perfectly with a suit. I just ordered another 5 pair.
great gift, January 22, 2016 By melanie (port washington, WI)
I bought these for my brother in law for xmas. He is a hair stylist and on his feet all day. He will only wear wool socks so it seemed fitting to buy these. He loves the feel of them.
Great socks!, December 23, 2015 By Anonymous (Rockville, MD)
These are wonderful socks that you can wear with boots or regular shoes. The fabric is not too thick nor too thin. The socks do breathe and the fabric is soft. I would use caution if you have short legs. My legs are exactly 16" (from the floor to the back of my knee) and the socks stop right below my knee.
the best of both worlds, December 19, 2015 By Soni (Brooks, GA)
These socks are great for giving my legs great support and keeping them warm while doing it. My daughter "the doctor" wears them on long flights to Africa and when she gets there she changes to the lighter weight sheer knee highs for the 8 hour bus ride. She's only 35 but wears these to help circulation and prevent DVT. (And they're cute)
