Firm support 20-30mmHg (class I) is the most prescribed level of compression.   This level is used to treat edema, lymphedema, varicose veins and post-sclerotherapy.

Most opaque thigh highs are made of nylon and spandex.   Sigvaris makes a thigh high with cotton, and Juzo makes one with silver to fight bacterial growth and infection.  Most opaque thigh highs have the option of an open or closed toe.

Economy lines include Allegro, Jobst Relief, Medi Assure, Juzo Basic and Sigvaris Access.  Premium lines are Jobst Opaque, Medi Plus and Comfort, Juzo Soft and Silver, and Sigvaris Cotton.
