I have worn these pantyhose with my last 6 pregnancies (I'm currently pregnant), and they have been a lifesaver. The upper leg and crotch area stay put and feel much more comfortable than other brands I've tried. I find the waistband comfortable, and it stays put, as well. I've worn these babies every waking moment during my pregnancies, and for someone who hates (HATES) wearing pantyhose, that is saying a lot. I am truly grateful this product is on the market. Thanks, Allegro..

Excellent! I got these for my daughter who had terrible swelling during her pregnancy. They worked great and she did not have any problem with the fit around her belly. She was on the edge of two sizes so I got one pair of either size. Both were great..

After getting my Allegro sheer hose I really liked them because they gave me plenty of support in my legs, but they weren't so tight that I couldn't get them on by myself.
I would give them a 3 out of 5 because the belly portion only covers about 2/3 of my belly and I am only in the beginning of my 6th month. The elastic is so tight around the top that it cuts into my belly and hurts very badly. It also feels like it is pulling my belly down, creating a lot of pressure on my pelvis and lower belly. I finally broke down and cut the elastic around the top and that has helped a TON!
I ordered based on the sizing chart and feel like maybe a larger size would have helped but I'm not tall enough for a larger size. I have been wearing them 3 days a week for about 5 weeks and they are beginning to get a little "ratty" and I will need another pair. I think I will try a pair of thigh highs next time and see if those are better.
Overall, Brightlife sent them VERY quickly and have a wonderful website to order from. I will be ordering the thigh highs from them..

This support stocking is really helpful for my varicose problem during my pregnancy. I like the price too, much cheaper than other brand. However, I do not think that this stocking will last long enough. It show some tears after wearing it for 1 week. I do not know if it was because the size was too small or because I washed it wrong. I contacted Pete Smiley if I could order 3 more in a larger size and get 1 free ( this stocking is eligible for buy 4 get 1 three) and he approved it. After all, I am very satisfied with the service. Hope those new ones can' survive" until my due date on July.

They do the trick on airplanes but wearing pantyhose feels really old fashioned and kind of gross. I can't bring myself to wear these on a daily basis as I'm not elderly. I would really like a thicker, stocking version. Not sheer, either. A support stocking, as opposed to hose, would also be very helpful in the winter months for warmth, since comfortable pants are difficult to find during pregnancy..

I feel more comfortable in Allegro's regular support stockings. The maternity pantyhose's waistband is too tight and the tummy panel too small. You can only pull it halfway your belly. I might try a larger size but for this pair, I went by the size instructions..
