I give these socks a 7/10.
First, the good. They're comfortable, and I can wear them all day. They stay in place, which is great.
Now, the bad. These socks are an outdated version of what ppl used to consider "athletic" socks 15-20 years ago. You know, the kind of socks children would play soccer in (included myself when I was younger).
Unfortunately, these socks are thick, hot, and seem to do a poor job at wicking moisture away--everything you want in an athletic sock. And since they seem to retain moisture/sweat (rather than drawing it away; perhaps it's due to the cotton content), they get smelly quickly.
If you are truly looking for socks to do high intensity activities in, I would consider something else. I've actually found Jobst's cheaper Relief Knee Highs to be a much better option. For half the price, you get a sock that's thinner, breathable, and does a better job at wicking moisture away.
All, in all, these socks aren't bad for every day use. However, if you're looking to do sports in these, they're not the best..
