Ordered both Jobsty and Sigvaris brand compression hoisery for a male patient I have (age 56, 6'4" tall, 320#).
As an occupational therapist I had always recommended Jobst because it was what I was exposed to during my training. But this time due to his need for a larger size and because of the color variety offered with both decided to also try the Sigvaris brand.
Well, you have found a couple of converts for sure. Both the patient and I have become Sigvaris fans! Their socks stay up much better; no readjustments needed throughout the day. The colors allow for better coordination with wardrobe, and the 30-40 gauge compression level is every bit as supportive as the more familiar Jobst brand.
I now feel as a therapist, I can give my male patients a choice in supportive legwear. And for the money they spend on legwear, choice is what they deserve.
