These sandals were purchased as birthday gift for my son away at college. He did not want to do away with wearing flip flops even though diagnosed with a lateral tear in his ankle from previous days in marching band. He received them several weeks ago as a surprise and was very pleased. He said they were very comfortable even with all the walking required on campus. I purchased the brown and may order the black pair as well..
