Travel socks are worn to help prevent blood clots from forming if you will be sitting in a confined space for a prolonged period of time, such as a long airplane flight. Travel socks should be tall enough to cover the calf muscle. A compression level of 15-20mmHg (moderate or firm) is advised. They have to be comfortable or else you won't wear them! We are including all of our compression hosiery that is suitable for helping prevent blood clots or DVTs. You can decide if you prefer natural fibers or synthetics, sheers or sporty socks. We are told that the Allegro Swing Cotton Sock is the flight attendant favorite. |
