The Sigvaris UlceRx Kit has a 96.2% healing rate for venous ulcers, versus 70% for bandages. Healing time is cut in half for ulcers up to 4cm in diameter and with noticeably less pain and discomfort than the traditional solution.
The UlceRx kit consists of one (1) underliner and one (1) overstocking that provide a combined ankle pressure of 40-50mmHg. It's recommended that the overstocking be removed at night while sleeping, but the low-compression understocking be left on. This greatly reduces pain and discomfort both at night and upon waking.
The underliner is designed for around-the-clock wear. Yarns are double-wrapped with only cotton touching the skin. Easy to don and remove, the skin-friendly fabric allows for optimal heat and moisture regulation. Made of 62% polyamide, 26% elasthane and 12% cotton. Additional liners sold separately.
The overstocking is from the Sigvaris Natural Rubber series and provides unsurpassed pressure stability and consistency. Made from 70% polyamide (nylon) and 30% natural rubber.
