These are dress socks that are quite thin. Because of that the socks made my shoes fit too loosely. The fabric contains lanolin which made the inside of my shoes slippery so my shoes were both flopping around loose and were slipping. I tried wearing regular socks over the top of them but then they were too tight.
Also, when I wore them while doing yard work which required digging out some sod with a shovel, the socks slipped down about 3 inches. Ultimately I ended up returning them..
