I like these as an alternative to the more hosiery style socks I've been wearing, but they are quite heavy and warm, I think will be best for winter. I do think the ribbed upper part will lose its compression quality sooner, it felt even on first try a little less tight than expected. I alternate between the 15-20mmHg and 20-30, and in this case I wish I would have purchased the 20-30. I also wish Jobst would come out with a sock with cotton foot - I hate the sweaty feet thing I get with compression socks, though these feel more like a cotton sock than any other compression sock I've tried. I will probably order another pair in the 20-30 compression for winter..
